Barkingside Fireworks Display

Spend Bonfire Night at the Barkingside fireworks display and watch the skies above Ilford and Barkingside lit up in a loud and colourful pyrotechnics show.

Gunpowder, treason and plot
2012 marks the 407th anniversary of the plot to blow up parliament and King James I, and at the Barkingside fireworks display you can mark the occasion in traditional style with a show packed full of rockets, Roman candles, chrysanthemums, bangers and mines. The Barkingside Bonfire Night display has been going for over a decade now, and this year's display is bound to be a popular affair for north east London locals.

Family entertainment
This year, the Barkingside fireworks display actually features not one, but two displays, with the children's show starting at 7pm and the main display beginning at 8pm. Kids can also have a go on some of the rides in the children's funfair, which will be up and running at the recreation ground during the display.

Charity event
Guy Fawkes Night is one of the most popular events in the autumn calendar, with crowds across London and the rest of the UK wrapping up warm and looking skywards to see a series of spectacular fireworks shows. The Barkingside fireworks display is raising money for children's charity Barnardo's, which means that there's even more of a reason to celebrate the occasion.

The Barkingside fireworks display takes place the night before Bonfire Night itself, Sunday 4th November 2012. The children's display starts at 7pm, and the main display begins at 8pm. The gates open at 5.30pm. Adult tickets cost £4.00, while tickets for children cost £2.00.
