Burns' Guide to London

Posted by: Mark O'Donnell  08/02/2012 @ 16:35
Subject: Clubs

Supporting the likes of Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 at gigs on both sides of the Atlantic is undoubtedly a nice calling card to have, but with a debut LP on the way, the hotly tipped Burns could very well be headlining his own arena tour in the not so distant future. A Day in the Life of Jimi Crayon

Posted by: Mark O'Donnell  05/05/2011 @ 17:09
Subject: General

Jimi Crayon is part of the Monorex collective, a crew who have gone from organising the legendary Secret Wars live art battles to working with the likes of Devlin, Adidas and Example. In this photo blog, Jimi shows us what he gets up to over 24 hours in the heart of East London’s art scene…

Today I’m doing some drawing with Example to promo our Sketch event. He is top at drawing chillies.

Didn't show you my desk before so this is it. Flash right? No? Ok fine… a lot gets done here though!

London Breweries: Fuller's

Posted by: Mark O'Donnell  15/12/2011 @ 11:34
Subject: Pubs & Bars

2011 has been a monumental year for the capital’s real ale industry with loads of new microbreweries, brewpubs and ale houses popping up to sate the increasing demand. With a reputation as one of London's finest chefs, Theo Randall certainly knows his food. He's a big fan of Italian cuisine, especially those dishes that feature seasonal and simple rustic fare - the kind of dishes, in fact, that have made his eponymous restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel such a huge hit.

Theo has very kindly put together a selection of his favourite restaurants in London for you to peruse, and believe us when we say that if he's a fan, you will soon be too. Buon appetito!

Posted by: meganw  03/02/2012 @ 12:31
Subject: Whats On

Stuck for inspiration, overwhelmed by apathy or simply lost and bewildered as Valentine's Day approaches? Well fret not, as this month the What's On blog takes you by the hand, leads you gently but firmly past the four foot teddy bears and other 'romantic' gumpf, and deposits you at some of the more unusual and interesting sounding events. We hope.

Perhaps it's a sad indicator of the health of our inner romantics here on the What's On desk, but some of the most exciting events for Valentine's Day involve watching the relationships of fictional characters unfold on the big screen. Because nothing says 'I love you' quite like sitting next to your other half …
