Right, so if you take a look at my Embarc Boat Party blog over on the clubs channel, you’ll see that I’m a little bitter at the way summer arrived with a bang, confused my fashion sense then, just as I’d dug out all my shorts and floaty dresses, disappeared in a puff of cold damp grey.

Still, I’m staying optimistic (just about) that this bank holiday will bring a bit of nice weather (it better had, I have a beach party, boat party and a BBQ to attend!). And in honour of this glimmer of hope, I’m highlighting an exciting little event that Zebrano are hosting this weekend – the Zebrano Beach Party.

Yup, even if it is raining and you can’t afford to zip over to the continent and chase the good weather then Zebrano’s come up with a way of adding some holiday cheer to all our hearts. This four-day event ties in another of my loves – cocktails – in the shape of huge bowls of cocktails for sharing (or getting bladdered on yourself!).

Friday 23rd May will see Zebrano in Soho getting a tropical makeover and the first outing of the sharer bowl cocktails. Whether you like Long Islands, Pimms Infusions or Pina Coladas you’ll be able to indulge with pals. And what’s that mouthwatering smell? Why the BBQ, naturally, delivering summer food to line the stomach.

And what’s that beneath your feet? Why it’s only four TONNES of fresh sand – oh yes, you can’t have a beach without sand, right?

Personally, I can’t wait. Sun, sea and, um… cocktails. Bring it on Zebrano – I’ll have two bowls of Pina Colada, please!
