Now, they’re taking on the Caped Crusader.

That’s right, Gourmet Burger Kitchen is joining the fight for justice in Gotham City. The best way to fight crime? Free burgers, of course! (Hey, it works for us!)

Of course, the free burger comes at a price – luckily not a monetary one. All you have to do is dress up like a Batman character (and they don’t have to be from the latest film, any of the characters from the Batman films will do) and you get your freebie.

The brainchild of this idea is the Covent Garden location, who, thanks to their close proximity to Leicester Square, enjoys a host of people in fancy dress for film premieres – think Harry Potter and Spider-Man. (Hmm, the new X-Files film is coming out next week, anyone up for an alien costume?)

Be sure to make an effort though – if you show up in an old pair of Batman-print pyjamas from 1992 you might be laughed all the way back to the comic books.

As for us, we’ll be putting on our kitty ears and making our way down to our local branch. Purr-fect.
