Wicked family run Turkish cafe that does a bargain buffet on Sunday lunchtimes. The perfect hangover cure!

Viet Garden - Liverpool Road, N1
This is one of those brilliant restaurants that looks nothing special because they haven’t bothered with the décor, but the food speaks for itself. Everything I have had has been delicious and the summer rolls are the best I have had.

Smiths of Smithfields - Charterhouse Street, EC1
This is more of one for the special occasion with your special lady. It is pretty meat-heavy as it is next to Smithfield’s Market but there are loads of good fish and veggie dishes too, and the views all over the city are great. Try and get a table on the balcony in the summer.

The Three Kings - Clerkenwell Close, EC1
This is simply the greatest pub in London if not the country. The atmosphere and decor and completely unique and it is just around the corner from The Doctor's Orders HQ. Check it out for good cheap lunches and the juke box upstairs.
