Ever wondered why it is when you go to a festival everyone looks like they’re going clubbing rather than partying it up in a muddy field? Yeah, me too (that’s a lie, as I’m usually the worst offender). Well the answer is simple - they’re prepared for the essential after party, of course!

This year’s huge SW4 Festival at Clapham Common on Saturday 23rd August is always known for its hedonistic craziness – which is why we all love it! I have my tickets already... Few can bear to let the party end there so this year it’s been announced that the afterparty is going to be held at the Clapham Grand from 9pm-6am. Now that’s a party!

We always expect these after parties to be big affairs, but this year SW4 has pulled out all the stops as legendary DJ John Digweed takes to the decks to host the party. Joining him are Paolo Mojo, Matt Von Holtz and Twisted Audio.

Now guys, if you’re anything like me you’ll leave it until the last minute. Just a little word to the wise though. There’s a limited capacity of 1500 and there’s no doubt that this event will sell out – the early bird tickets disappeared in record time, after all. So you may need to convince your mates that time is of the essence.

See you in a field in your best club wear then! Now let’s just hope it’s sunny...
