Now I have to admit, I’m not the most arty of people (see The Art of Drinking) – although, I DID get a Banksy print for my birthday the other day, which now hangs proudly on my wall, so I’m not a TOTALLY hopeless case!
However, when the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) suddenly burst onto the club scene (yes, clubbing in a gallery), I have to admit my interest was definitely piqued. Saturday 28th June will see the whole ground floor of the ICA transformed into the unoriginally named NIGHTCLUB (upper case, of course). Claiming to 'invoke the spirit of club and rave subculture' there will be some cutting edge acts performing and DJing to pull in a new generation of clubbers, bored of the usual party places.
Electro, techno, funk, house, whatever your musical passion you’ll be catered for. The line-up is pretty mind-blowing – it’s going to blow the roof off the ICA, that’s for certain!

NIGHTCLUB Line-Up
Gang Gang Dance (live)
Prinzhorn Dance School (live)
Lost present Colin Dale, Andrea Parker and Steve Bicknell
Cocadisco present Trevor Jackson and DJ Benetti

So come on boys and girls, get into the groove art style (innit) and dig deep for those pennies (it’s just £12) for a night of unbridled boogyage. 9pm-4am Saturday 28th June… See you there or you’re a square!
