Club News
My top club this week is hot new venue Last Days of Decadence, which had its official launch just last night. This 1920s-flavoured venue saw performances from Sportsday Megaphone and The Bees Knees and has already played host to the launch of hot new mini-festival Shoreditch Shuffle and recruited DJ John Power for its opening week. Best of all, it has Hoxton’s latest license, which must make it worth a visit!

In other club news, Pacha London in Victoria have announced they’ll be back to normal and reopening next Friday 10th October, ready to re-claim their crown at the top of London’s club scene.

One bit of club gossip that’s too hot to tell you yet is that a certain Kensington members club has just gone on the market – if I told you who was interested in buying it, you’d be very surprised! Keep your eyes peeled next time for news on that.

Bar News
It has been ages since I’ve been to the Jazz Cafe in Camden, but a glance at their upcoming acts made me book a few tickets this week. Top hip hop act Arrested Development will take to the stage here on Wednesday to perform Tennessee and, er… that’s the only one I know. Sorry! I’ll be there learning a bit more of their back catalogue next week I hope! Much more excitingly for me, Angie Stone is there in December– anyone want to buy me tickets as an early Christmas present?

Headline of the Week
The new venues to watch out for this week include the biggest launch of the week York and Albany from Gordon Ramsay's protege Angela Hartnett near Primrose Hill and Camden. However, also keep your eyes on reopened Tabernacle and its new basement club Cube, keen to show off its revamped floors and refreshing music policy, which features the likes of Gucci Soundsystem and Horsemeat Disco.

Top 5
Here are the coveted chart positions for this week in full. This is where is rocking my boat...
1. Bungalow 8
Mark Ronson is here almost every night celebrating his newly-single status at the moment.
2. The End and AKA
I like after-hours party Jaded, it kicks off on Sundays at 5.30am and lasts through until way after you should be tucking into your roast dinner! Make the most of it though, The End and AKA close their doors for good in January.
3. Champagne Bar at the Andaz Hotel
This place rocks on a Saturday – it’s only tiny, but with live music and a funky DJ until 2am it gets pretty exciting!
4. The Green
This Islington bolthole has recently been revamped. This Saturday Lady Lloyd takes over and she’s declared she’s bringing a 'handbag full of pop-tastic-ness.'
5. blagclub Holland Park
I like the blagclubs, they’re intimate and chic without being pretentious. This one’s my favourite.
