Built on the site of the Old George Inn in the year of Victoria’s ascension, 1837, this stunning late Regency building boasts splendid bay windows with elegant balconies and columns. Stepping inside you step back in time, such is the attention to detail shown in the building’s restoration. The Collingwood Restaurant and Duncan Bar are open to all, in the most democratic style, for drinks, lunches and dinners. Diners can admire the collection of original prints and paintings that adorn the walls of the Tavern’s ground floor. Naval scenes and portraits of famous patrons are of particular interest.

The Trafalgar Tavern is quite simply a tribute to Old London, a place were the past can live on in the present. The specially commissioned statue of Lord Nelson outside is testament to this, denoting the respect the owners have for the pub’s unique history while offering the luxury of modern events and dining for the perfect Christmas experience.
