Ok, HMS Belfast is a 1940’s cruiser rather than a cruise liner...

…but that does not mean Christmas cannot be elegant and sophisticated. Onboard HMS Belfast this Christmas, you can transport your guests back in time to experience the full luxury of cruising in the early part of the 20th century.

The food, although traditional, has aspects that could have been found on a cruise liner in the 1930’s. All of this will be served by waiters in steward’s jackets, epaulettes and gold buttons, on tables laid with candelabras and crystal. Fine wine and champagne can flow all night.

Include a string quartet or jazz band* for your entertainment. Take part in a tour with an HMS Belfast veteran* and listen to first-hand experiences of their time onboard the Ship. A game of cards or roulette could only be a room away. Waltzing is not essential, but can be arranged.

It does not matter if you are in First Class or Steerage, everybody is welcome onboard HMS Belfast this Christmas.

Learning about HMS Belfast is an excellent re-vitaliser for delegates during a meeting or an ideal way to start off your event. Tours are available for up to 20 people per group or talks for larger groups are available.

1940’s Actors

1940’s actors recreate the new recruit induction procedure in an educational but comical way. Lieutenant Commander Graham and Rating Frank ‘Loaf ’Wood meet and greet guests on arrival. The lieutenant then bellows out the orders to the sailors and provides an induction onboard the ship. Lasting approximately twenty minutes this is an ideal and unique experience to kick off any event.
