BP Summer Screens in London present a showcase of live performances in the sun, screened outdoors at various locations in the capital. Londoners can enjoy world class opera and ballet in true alfresco style, offering free, cultured days out this summer.

Exclusive performances in London
Performances of exclusive ballet and opera productions will be screened live from the Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet. Culture buffs can head outdoors for live screenings of Romeo and Juliet, Don Carlo and The Marriage of Figaro, promising high entertainment in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

BP Summer Screens in London
The crowds will be out in numbers to enjoy evenings of live opera and ballet this summer, congregating at key London locations including Covent Garden, Canary Wharf and Trafalgar Square.

Cultured days out
Londoners of all ages can head outside for days out and try something new this summer. Make it a cultured summer and enjoy live shows at a unique London screening event.

40 second film competition
Do you think that you could remake Romeo and Juliet on film in only 40 seconds? BP Summer Screens are inviting budding filmmakers to capture the essence of the classic Shakespearian in only 40 seconds. The winning films will be screened at the first of the BP summer screenings, Romeo and Juliet. If you would like to submit an entry for the competition, click on the link below for details.
