If a string of live music performances isn't enough, Electric Proms also features a programme of free film screenings, taking place throughout the festival. Music fans can dive into a world of film, presenting a diverse range of artists on screen.

Eclectic cinema
The Electric Proms Films line up has previously featured everyone from the Beastie Boys to Pete Doherty, presenting a truly eclectic range of musical genres in exclusive films. This years lineup looks set to be just as enticing and exciting and we'll be sure to keep you in the know as soon as details are released. Music enthusiasts will not want to miss the chance to explore a world of music in a selection of highly acclaimed films.

This Year's Highlights in Electric Proms Films
Highlight films for 2008 include such delights as A Cross the Universe which looks at the lives of French DJ duo Justice as they tour America, which sees the pair followed 24/7 by award winning directors. Justice and the directors will introduce the film, and the event will be followed by a special pre clubbing DJ set by the duo. With more great films on the line up for 2008, there really is a cinematic feast of music related film in London.

Electric Proms Films 2008
Some superb short films are also being shown at this year's festival so there really should be something for everyone. The New Music Shorts are the big hit for this year's Proms, with films inspired by tracks from Roots Manuva, XX Teens and Wild Beasts. Electric Proms Films will be screened at the Roundhouse in Camden on Wednesday 22nd October and Saturday 25th October 2008. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance.
