Literally found a homeless man sitting on the floor. Told the casino staff and they were like: not our problem. Overpriced tickets and if you sit on the front rows you pay £5 more, not really... The place itself inside looks very glamorous with nice carpets and nicely sized popcorn bar, but will definitely avoid. Leicester Square, what else can you say..

Before we visit the Empire we try and ascertain which of the many cinemas within "the cinema" our film is showing. Anyone who has sat in No 7 at the sides on the right will know not to do it again. You just don't get a good view , and please, don't show huge films like "Narnia" in this badly designed area. However, the main cinema is still absolutely brilliant as are most of the others, and don't you just love it when your seat shakes from the superb sound system? Oh, My wife and I are both pensioners aqnd probably have 100 yeaqrs cinema going between us and I still highly rate the "Empire". Staff are pretty nice too.

Worst customer service experience ever!

If a could dish out 0 stars then I certainly would. Tried to contact an operator using their automated service (at 10p a minute) however no matter how clearly (or loudly) I said "Operator" I was still asked whether or not I wanted to purchase tickets for 'Marmaduke'. For such a well known establishment service like this simply stinks and is a sign of pure laziness on the the part of the a management especially taking into consideration the prices they charge. Had to resort to using their online query submission service which will no doubt result in a futile wait for a response; however I stand to be corrected.

Didn't realises that the empire was such a tourist trap.

Had to post a little addendum to my previous 'review'. Despite the frustration I encountered when trying to get through to an operator, my use of the online query facility has resulted in me being provided with a refund form (in less than a day, taking the bank holiday into consideration).Deserving of an extra star from me anyway.

However, It still would have been nice if they could have emailed customers (at least those who bought tickets online) to advise them that the movie was no longer being shown (For the record it was 'A Serbian Film' that was pulled from 'Frightfest')

One of the best big screens in London, beautiful decor and lighting and a great sound system. The review above is for their phone line, not the cinema. If you have the capability to buy a ticket you will enjoy the cinema itself!

Glitzy showbiz cinema in the heart of Leicester Square - nice venue but very busy in the evenings which leads to the obligatory moron in the audience but hey, that's not the Empire's fault.
