Very nice cinema, located a few minutes up the Holloway Road tube station. The staff was very nice and the rooms are big and clean, but it looks like an old theatre, so the seats never face directly the screen and you find yourself a bit to side, but half way through the movie.
I wouldn't probably recommend it on a Saturday night though as it may attract a stranger crowd because of the area it sits in. Otherwise, very nice for a matinee performance.

This cinema, sited in a fantastic art deco building, but now a total dump. The air conditioning is always set too cold and now frequently smells of rat urine. Rats have allegedly been spotted on the inside of the cinema so be careful where you sit! The floors and seats are grubby and repellent and the toilets stink.
It is amazing how much this cinema has deteriorated over the past couple of years. This used to be our favourite cinema but now we avoid it at all costs. Occasionally we forget, when none of the other cinemas are showing the film we want to see at the right time, and try it again only to vow never to return.
Some of the screens are really tiny.
What a shame - this used to be the pride of the Holloway Road now it's badly in need of a thorough internal refit.

Very nice cinema. The building itself is very pretty and the location is alright, located a few minutes up the Holloway Road tube stop. The one bad side to it is that building looks it was a theatre before and therefore none of the seats allow you to seat facing the screen straight, you always end a little to the side as is usual in some theatres, but half way through the movie you don't notice it anymore. The staff was quite professional, but I would probably avoid it during the weekends and evenings as I'm pretty sure Odeon Holloway Road will attract a somewhat unruly crowd because of the area it sits in. Overall, nice film experience and would recommend for a matinee viewing of a good film, otherwise, there are plenty other odeons in much nicer areas of London.
