Went to see a 3d movie and it was great with a large screen and comfy VIP seats with extra leg room. Unfortunately the cinema was very cold and we had to keep our coats on. Also, the web site did not work (again) so we could not benefit from on-line booking discounts. The web site is the weakest link.

I went there with a friend last week and we had fun. The screens are ok, so we had no issues. I didn't notice the lights thing the last reviewer mentioned, so I wouldn't be able to comment on that, or maybe they already fixed it, which must be a good sign. One thing I would complain though is indeed how small the box office area is and how pretentious the staff seems to be. Being Marble Arch and all they must be used to receiving a lot of stupid tourists there and don't bother, but when proper Londoners go there, they end up giving a bad image of the place. With so many cinemas in Central London, I don't think I'll be coming to this one anytime soon, but still a good viewing experience if you don't bother about these small details.

I'm ok with the small screens, the total lack of room for a queue to the ticket office (that always causes some confusion between the customers). But what really really annoys me in this cinema is the fact that they keep a quite bright light on while the movie is showing. Not trailers, the movie. You enter the screen and there's some light so you can find your seat. The ads start, then the trailers, then the movie and there's no change on the lights level, it's still a bit too bright for the movie! So disturbing. I've been there endless times with different people and the lights have been quite an issue lately. They need to sort that out asap, it just ruins the whole experience.
