Having used a number of cinemas all over the country (due to a career that sees me move around a lot), I can confidently say that this is the worst cinema I have ever been to.

In the last few months they've been through multiple trainee managers, and little wonder as the only times we seem to see them is when they are tasked to do the cleaning!

Staff often have bad attitudes, and tonight when we went, once more there was no less than 4 people to one single retail desk (selling food and drinks). Service was poor and sullen when delivered.

We walked upstairs to the cinema, past old display picture-stands that were left piled up in the waiting area (together with shreds of cardboard littering the place).

Inside the cinema was little better. Popcorn, old popcorn containers, cups, and chewing gum were strewn across the floor. This was for an evening showing - usually the prime time for showings - and there was only 4 of us in the showing. Not at all surprising as the state of place was so bad as to never make me want to go back there.

It doesn't take a genius to understand why this overprices (£25 for two tickets and 3D glasses) cinema is struggling. Management seem stressed out by some of the stubborn and rude staff. They hide in the back constantly - so it is no wonder that this place is doing so badly.

In future, I'm never using a London based Odeon cinema. Most of them seem to suffer from neglect - and to be honest, I would rather support one of the small independent cinemas.

Shame on you Odeon. Shame on YOU for not improving a potentially good business (it's on the main high street so people know about it).

Spend your money elsewhere!

This cinema is quite poor, there are lots of problems regarding this cinema that shows poor managment involved.

1. Toilets are filthy, not in the way that constant use, like water splashed every where and some toilet paper on the floor of the toilet, but like it's not been clean right or at all, same go for the floors of the cinema, when you walk around some area's is sticky.

2. seat cramping and very uncoftable in one of the screens and they are filthy and ripped due to people putting their feet on them without taking their shoes off as they are so close.

3. poorly setup air condition, you are either frying like a roost or cold as a eskimo.

4. Customer service skills are very poor, they are either chatting away with other staff, or not available.

5. Noisy children and teenagers, the noise from children and teenagers cause's distruption to other people watching and when you do complain, nothing is done about it, this is the sort of services that CAUSES people to stop going and buy pirate movies.

A bit threadbare and suffers from indifferent staff who would rather chat than serve you your refreshments. They also don't care or do anything about kids and teenagers running around and making noise during movies. The toilets are appallingly dirty and ill maintained. The only thing to said in its favour is that it is only cinema for miles around and the seats are reasonably comfortable.
