Imax is fun, but if you want to see one of the good films they show- it’s terrible! you have to pay £16 for “Club seats” and this is what you get:- a smaller screen- lights right above the ACTUAL SCREEN that are on during the whole of the film(!) - seats that are not as luxurious as one would expect, the worse thing being that if you go with someone you have an enormous plastic table separating you..I can’t believe they are getting away with this, and I am really sad about it because now I have to go to Vue up the road which usually doesn’t screen the films I want to see.

This movie house has been recently refurbished and is very nice. The location is very good if you come by public transport (Swiss Cottage underground station and several bus routes are within a minutes walk) but parking can be tricky.I recently went to see Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol in their new IMAX screen. At £14.50 per ticket it isn't cheap but I took a front row premium seat and it was awesom. I was almost inside the movie. In the scenes where Cruise is climbing about outside of a skyscraper, I was literally holding onto my seat. It's a great experience and well worth the premium price. Also, you get an IMAX bar area to make the most of your evening. Food and drink prices are also high, but they are everywhere and there are convenience stores even closer than the station where you can stock up and save a few pounds.

This is a rather tired cinema. Picture and sound are fine in all the auditoriums. Food is nothing special.

The real reason this gets one star is that the people who go there talk. They talk ALL the time.

So if you really want to see AND hear the film, find another cinema.
