Although she's better known for her role as romcom film queen, Sandra Bullock joined the list of Oscar winners in 2010.
Best Directing – Kathryn Bigelow – The Hurt Locker
Director Kathryn Bigelow and her film The Hurt Locker beat cinema hit Avatar.
Best Supporting Actor – Christoph Waltz – Inglourious Basterds
Christoph Waltz’s performance in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds won rave reviews.
Best Supporting Actress – Mo-Nique – Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire
Mo’Nique played a disturbed mother in this film.
