I think I've just had the worst cinema experience of my life. I have been to this vue cinema once before Christmas and ticket service was slow then, now they have decided to sell tickets at the same place you buy food and it was a nightmare. I arrived for my show before doors opened for it and the cinema wasn't that busy. I was in the queue for over half an hour and ended up missing the begining of the film (which has never happened to me before). I'm sure the idea is to make more money by encouraging more people to buy food before they go in, but that is the last £20 they will receive from me as I will never go back to that cinema again, I hope that other people don't have to endure the same experience. An example: It took 5-10 mins to serve 2 child customers in front of me who ordered every assortment of ice-cream and milk-shake (and no tickets as it was an ice-cream vendor). I bought 2 3d tickets from the same place and no food! And spent over twice as much money in the process as the kids and it took 30 secs. I was so annoyed by the experience that it ruined the film for me, and I'm still annoyed now that I'm home. What rubbed salt into the wound was the poster at the next tube station advertising the new and improved vue cinema at Wood Green! I have plenty of other choices for cinemas and I won't be going back to this one.
