Took the kids on Sunday 12/6 to see Kung Fu Panda 2 - they had been looking forward to it so I booked tickets with allocated seats online and set off early. Got to the cinema and the place was an absolute nightmare - had to queue for half an hour to collect the tickets even though I had booked online! Massive queues at ticket machines and all tills, staff didn't seem bothered about the chaos. So we ended up missing the start of the film and the "allocated" seats were full of people who has unallocated tickets. Cinema full so after failing to get people in our seats to move and complaining to staff who basically just shrugged their shoulders, we watched the rest of the film from the worst seats in the place. I was livid but fortunately the kids were only interested in the film and loved it. Well, Vue North Finchley you have just lost a entire family of regular film+popcorn customers to the Odeon Hatfield. In Summary: Badly managed, useless staff and hopeless ticketing system - avoid!

No Stars. I went to see Vicky Cristina Barcelona on Tuesday 24 Feb, it was advertised on the internet as starting at 15.30.

Got to the cinema in time, travelled about 5 miles to get there, after taking the afternoon off work. Was really looking forward to this film, and was therefore very annoyed to find that this film was not actually playing until 9.15 that evening.

There were no staff downstairs so I went to get my ticket upstairs. The girl on the ice cream stand (not her fault admittedly) buzzed through to a manager who asked if I had the right cinema, yes I had, I am an adult and not stupid.

It was their fault for advertising incorrectly. The girl said there had been several complaints that day about the same film.

I therefore saw the only other film that didn't sound dreadful, 'confessions of a shopaholic' which was on at the time I was there, dreadful film, don't bother seeing it.

So I feel I wasted the afternoon and £6.80 to see it. I am not happy at all and will never use this cinema again.
