I was so surprised with my evening at 24. Normally i stay away from these west end type clubs which seem to have people with far more money than sense and everything is ridiculously overpriced, however 24 was a welcome change. Although you couldn't argue it was cheap, the decor and atmosphere was amazing and I've never seen such interactivity in a nightclub. The ibar was a particular highlight. Def one of the best nights ive had in london for a while. Would recommend to a friend and would go again!!!

The second time I have been to this club and both times were awesome, the music was great and the DJ kept the great classics song mixed in well with new music. All the staff I found very friendly especially the doormen which is unusual for nightclubs. Since their refurb which was my last time there it's even better with a bigger designated dance floor. Some of my friends went in December when the previous promoter was running the night and said they had problems on the door. I went through Guest-list Me and didn't have any problems.

24 was an awful experience last night. A birthday guestlist had been authorised for me for 24 last night. When we got to the club last night the door staff were rude and upset by the fact that the price that had been agreed we could pay was clearly less than they felt they should have been receiving. They then left us stood in the cold while they discussed allowing us in, eventually letting 8 girls in, stating the others would be let in shortly after. They weren't. At which point I went to check on their whereabouts, only to be told my group was too large and they would not be allowed in.

It would appear that the door people were happy to let others in but only those on tables or single sex groups which is unusual as you are always advised to go to a club in a mixed group aren't you.?! And as for the club. Well needless to say I won't be recommending it to anyone else, the drinks were overpriced, decor was uninspiring, staff were rude and the space was not conducive to dancing.

I want to share my displeasure at being openly discriminated against in the UK’s most multicultural city. Last night (Saturday 5th December 2009), I was out in the West End with friends when we stumbled across 24 London on Soho’s Kingley Street. We were a group of 12 women and 2 men, of various ethnicities. When the men asked about admission to the nightclub, they were told that the group could not enter because there were “ too many black girls in the group”. At the time we were hurt, offended and angered by the club’s blatant discrimination, but we felt unable to stand up for ourselves. We knew that if we voiced our opinions, we would have been accused of being aggressive or belligerent. What shocked us most was the openness of the discrimination. The lady on the door boldly announced that we were being refused admission because of the colour of our skin. I understand that clubs are particular about their clientele, but in the 21st century, I did not think that being particular included being racist. I want to do something about this and I hope that you can help me to name and shame the people responsible for ruining our night out and making us feel like second-class citizens.

General points about this club:1) Bouncers doing the usual 'I'm big and tough, so don't mess' attitude. Whilst the odd one is trying to grope you!2) They make you stand in a queue, because it's so packed inside? No, of course not, it's to make the club look busy!3) £1 per item in the cloakroom (don't even try and bargain for your scarf to go in your jacket pocket)4) When buying drinks and not on a table, we were told that 'minimum spend for females is £15'. Then you're greeted with a 12.5% service charge on top and each time you buy! I asked the bar staff why on earth I was being charged £4 for him unscrwing a bottle of wine and he replied 'I don't get paid enough.'

5) The clientelle is predominantly female. All absolute desperate wannabes with hair extensions and heels they can't even walk in! It's hilarious watching the ones who crowd round the door waiting for that one off male to enter.6) When in the toilets, the only form of a towel for drying your hands is offered by a toilet attendant, who then demands a tip! Well maybe I won't wash my hands next time!7) The place is the size of a match box.Did I have a good night and will I be going back...ummm...PS: Shame there isn't a minus star rating option.RUBBISH!

Ok were to start..First of all i booked a table for 10 people with a £500 min spend.

I put my 10 friends inc myself on the guestlist for the table and was told as we have a table/vip area etc we would get free entry. On the night however they told us we all had to pay £10 entry fee.

I questioned this with the manager who said this is standard proceedure even though on the website it states girls free before 11 30pm. Seeing as the group was mostly girls i told him they should be allowed for free seeing as i will be spending at least £500 in the club.

The best he could offer was 2 free entrys. I didnt want this to ruin my night so i carried on to the table to be told it is for 8 people only. The booking confirms 10 people yet they were saying they couldnt guarantee the space!

i told the manager thats not my problem as this was their mistake and made sure all my guests were invited onto the table. Then we was greeted with the menu. The cheapest option to drink was a £185 70cl bottle of smirnoff vodka.

Each bottle averaged £200+ making it the most expensive club i've ever been too! After a couple of hours we had spent the min spend of £500 and was slowing down on the drink because we was all getting a bit merry so the manager comes over and basically tries to chuck us of the table to make room for other bookings as we was not drinking enough.

By this point i was furious with staff and couldnt believe they wanted to get rid of us after spending £500 in their club! Also my friends brought me a bottle of champagne and a cake and gave it to the manager to bring out later but this didnt happen and when questioned they 'couldn't find it'!!

I was really looking forward to this place but the staff were rude and unorganised and i wish i could have spent my money in a more well deserved place. If i could give this place no stars i would.. one final word of advice.. AVOID!!

Disgusted and disappointing place to go to. Had guest list confirmed, got there early but had to wait 45mins in the queue.

No one informed us what was going on, heard that the tables had been double booked. People were getting turfed out the queue for no reason, my friend had his name on the guestlist only to be told his name wasn't down by the lady at the door when he actually saw his name on the list.

Never going back there again.

This weekend was my second weekend at 24 and each night keeps getting better.

This club has funky little touches that makes a night there totally different to other clubs - great people all just looking to have a good night,

friendly staff all up for a laugh and its recent refurb has made the club sparkle - keep up the good work.

I was not looking forward to my night at 24 due to the mixed reviews and I heard it once was a cool venue but had lost it.

It was one of the best nights in the West-End that I can remember. It seems to be one of the only places that doesn't let the gloom and doom of the credit crunch effect them.

Every single person in the place had a huge smile on their faces, everyone dancing without a care, friendly fun staff that don't look down their noses at you - picture the best school disco you ever attended.

Great fun - just wish I could remember more!

If there was an option to give this place no stars I would have opted for that. This place is an absolute disaster.

It's surprisingly small and really not that techie or different, from the reviews and photos I was expecting something a little bit more spectacular, but was left disappointed.

Nevermind, I could have got over that and had a good time but was too busy lifting my jaw off the floor.

I have NEVER seen anything like the clientele in this club anywhere in Central London before.

Worse than the worst version of a hen night at the Hippodrome - I don't mean to be a snob but seriously... You get more class hanging out at a street corner in Kings Cross.

It was unreal. Think slightly overweight "bird" with a butch looking short spiky bleached blond haircut, wearing a tiny tiny white backless shiny dress, showing off beautiful tattoos on upper back and ankles, with matching white platforms.

The kind of 'lady' that might threaten to 'kick ya 'ead in' if you so much as glanced her way.I kid you not.

Steer clear unless the above sounds like a challenge. In which case, good luck.

Went to 24 with a couple of friends for a random night out on the town.... After being asked for £20 at the door, left me a bit strapped for cash! The atmosphere is good inside with seating areas but small dance floor. I thought the DJ played a good mix of music, and there was definitely an eclectic bunch of people in there for a Thursday night. Overall had a good night - wasnt that bothered by light up tables - but for some it made their night out!! Bar is quiet expensive though!! Probably would go back again...

After reading some of these reviews, I was a bit ominous about coming here for a friend's birthday but the night turned out to be great! We went on a Saturday night (not sure if that makes any difference) and they had some sort of neon party on so were handing out glowsticks and bangles which looked really great! Lots of people were dressed up too and had neon paint all over them. We ended up having a brilliant night, and my friend whose birthday it was really enjoyed it. Although the drinks are on the expensive side, and some of the bar staff weren't all that friendly, I would definitely go again.

We went here for a friend's birthday last Friday and I was very disappointed overall. Thankfully he had made some sort of deal and we 'only' had to pay £15 instead of the frankly ludicrous £20 we were told. Drinks were averagely priced for the area but adding on a £2 'service charge' is unforgivable. You're not a fancy restaurant, you're a bar!

Everyone seemed absolutely mesmerised by the tacky bar/table with the touch-sensitive lights, personally I thought they would have been better off spending the money on a decent DJ - when I was there it seemed as though he was just playing random songs from his Ipod, such was the bizarre choice/order of songs and the non-existant mixing.

Extremely overrated, in all. Judging by the average rating I'm not the only person who thinks this. Four stars? You're having a laugh.

I didn't actually go here but my mate did for NYE and told me a funny tale.

After getting a free ticket he was given a REFUND of £40 by some crazy guy outside. Following this the rest of my mates told me the crowd was great as was the music but... they had no countdown. When asked why the DJ replied "the club won;t allow it!".

Not sure what that's about but there's some crazy stuff going on here, free money for all at 24!

NYE. Well, once we got in, this place was fine (apart from the slightly random selection of early noughties garage songs initially comprising the DJ's set; songs which few would describe (accurately) as classics (DJ Luck and MC Neat et al)). However, getting in was another story. We (along with around 100 disgruntled punters outside) had bought tickets at £40, only to be told at 11:45pm (NYE!!!!) that it was "one in one out". When people expressed dissatisfaction, they were informed that they should have arrived earlier. Er... no, you shouldn't have sold more tickets than the venue will allow, that is what is known as misselling and some companies (admittedly, for some unknown reason probably not nightclubs) get into quite a lot of trouble for it. Having very nearly got my 2008 off to a very bad start (and despite getting in just before midnight thanks to the persistence of a friend already inside), I would never, ever go back there or recommend that anyone else did. Kind of sums up everything that is wrong with clubbing in central London.

This is one of those venues for town folks and essex crowd that think they are going somewhere special... There is definitely a market for that crowd, but it's a far cry from what this venue was like not so many years ago... the fit-out looks like the owner designed it himself... whoever did design it, has never done any design training... one word 'YUK' what were they thinking? seriously tacky!

the crowd was equally matched... we lasted 2 minutes then ran out the door...

Don't waste your time with this place... horrible!

We went to an industry short film screening last night and have NEVER been more disgusted at the treatment we received at 24. I was assured up front that I could pay by American Express (industry event = Corporate Card = expenses = fun for all!)but could not set up a tab (???) and had to spend a minimum of £20 (Corporate Card = easy!). We were then charged £24 for two caprihinias (which were TERRIBLE, my 4 year old godson would have done a better job with his Toys R Us chemistry set) and a bottle of Star. Upon payment the card machine would not work. Nor did the next two. After standing around copping a whole heap of attitude from the "bar staff", I use this term extremely loosely, I am informed that in fact they did not accept American Express. After all this, and it took over ten minutes to reach this revelation, we were then told we'd have to find an alternative way to pay. We ended up leaving after consuming our low quality/high priced beverages paid for with a handful of rummaged change (we thought we were protected in the warm glow of the aforementioned Corporate Card) as we were all in such a foul mood at the shocking treatment of the bar staff.

Note to Bar 24 - do not employ bar staff if they a)don't understand basic business needs b)cannot actually make a fairly common cocktail c)have the charm of a two legged ox trying to plough a field in the dark (and I'm being kind here).

We will never return, Bar 24 can sit there and pretend they're too cool to care but there is a rude awakening coming their way! I don't think it'll be them having the last laugh. We'll stick to places that know what they're doing when we decide to spend horrendous amounts of money entertaining clients at industry events.

I have never in my life been met on the door by such pretentious people on the door. They were rude, aggressive and arrogant. I am in Public Relations and can honestly say that they left me with such a bad impression and the first people you speak to are the most important being the face of the club. When I got inside although the music was good there was little atmosphere and it was small with no dancefloor. I find it a waste of money and technology!

I came with a group of friends to this club, me and my group were on guest list! The club looked great from the outside and after queuing up for ages on a Saturday night, the bouncer looked at me and told me I was too young to enter the venue. I'm 25 and was on the guest list. He didn't want to look at my ID and told me I wasn't allowed in. After convincing the bouncer and girl on the door to look at my driver's licence they tried to tell me it wasn't me even though I had my credit cards to prove otherwise.

Right, where do I begin? After waiting for the door staff to learn how to read a guest list we headed down what seems to be quite an average corridor, thinking to myself, "It's got to get better". I open the door to a sea of, in my opinion, cheap and tacky white which would be okay if I were Jodie Marsh, but I'm not so after I refocused my eyes I headed to the bar.

I noticed a pretty projection pattern on the wall which had all the blondes in a daze for roughly an hour! Others were left dribbling over the sweaty dancer on a block! For a brief moment I thought I was in Stringfellows!

As if that wasn't enough my £3.40 glass of water, half empty, was taken away! and repeated with a £5.00 bottle of Peroni which is your basic half arsed brewed beer.

24 is without a doubt the worst bar/club I have ever been to, and if you don't believe me go and find out for yourselves.

Summed up, 24's nothing special. For all you students out there, guys should bring girls! If you're not on the guestlist come in a small group. If you are, then confirm the guest list on the night before you arrive. To be honest the club was okay and does have potential on the right night.

However, I've been to a lot of clubs and this one definitely does not have that wow factor. There was a lot of bouncers. They were cool with me but were uncompromising with a lot of others. As I've said, guys who are not on the guestlist should a)come early, b)dress smart and c)if you can, bring girls.

What an awful, pretentious place. Went to 24 last night for joint birthday celebrations and although the 17 year olds in front were let in, my group was refused entry. 5 well dressed ladies who obviously were too classy for such a messed up joint. Although guestlist was confirmed last Wednesday, apparently we were not on the list. What a joke. But the real laughing point is that the ladies on the door suggested they could put us on the list for Chinawhites or we could come back at 1am. Ludicrous!

Thankfully was on a guestlist for another club in Soho so got a taxi and had an awesome night. The ladies on the door (who were not so good looking themselves) did not seem so bright. So basically if you like partying with kids, 24 is your place, but believe me there are much better places in London.

I had the best night at 24! Free entry - the people we were with got us to skip all the queues - and the bouncers were cheeky and funny. The bright flashing lights inside are quite overwhelming at first! We had a table and I found the girls there a little distasteful, as were some of the guys. Some other clubs seem to have more friendly people.

But after getting a huge bottle of vodka, we ended up dancing on the tables laughing our heads off. Guys there will buy you drinks, and if you're lucky, you'll be treated like a princess!

Had a great Saturday night at 24 last week. We booked a few days in advance on the guest list as there were six of us, and had to get there fairly early (around 10.30pm) because it gets busy on the door after the pubs shut.

Entry price and drinks were a little lower than most West End clubs but still not cheap either. It was just warming up a bit when we got in but was really rocking after 45 mins. The place looks really cool, and has these wall to wall projections that are amazing, and change when you touch them.

24s music was good, and boasts a hip and sexy crowd. What more do you want?

I went to a Keds trainers launch at 24 a week or so ago, and it was rocking. Obviously the free champagne and cocktails helped but I also got the chance to meet Mischa Barton who was at the party. She was really friendly and I even had a brief chat with her.

The crowd that night was very fashion industry orientated but weren't up themselves. I met this gorgeous girl from Harpers magazine and we exchanged cards, which was nice. All told a brilliant night.

We hosted a private event at 24 on 5 March and though the venue was ideal for our new product launch, the management team are unbelievably amateurish and a nightmare to work with. It is a shame as the venue is very nice and a blank canvas - hence ideal for a corporate bash.

But don't be fooled by any sales patter if you visit the venue - make sure you get everything in writing. 24 are way too casual to really deserve any decent corporate business.
