I wish I could leave a negative rating for this absolutely dreadful place which is essentially a tiny teeny hole in the ground. My ruined night was just one terror story after another: rude and clueless door staff, pushy people in the queue, outdated decor and cheap furnishings... To top it all they have the most awful crowd one can possibly assemble (yes worse than your worst Saturday night meat market): a group of teenagers (many looked like 11 or so - any door policy?) in £10 outfits, drunk, silly, pushy, and always at their worstestest behaviour. Guys - only go there if you share the same aesthetics as Mr Humbert in Lolita; girls - avoid this at all costs unless you don't mind being pulled by a 11 year old. Most grotesque I've ever done to my £20 - yep that's what they charge for all this nightmare!

A complete disappointment. The experience did not justify the extemely high price -£20 including the overpriced and insipid cocktails. I do not mind paying for a better quality of service but it was absolutely dreadful with people pushing each other in a tiny crowded basement. but the worst part was that the bouncers were extremely rude and actually manhanded my friends and myself. It was full of arrogant twats and sleazy guys. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely fantastic club. Great mix of music. No idea what people saying it wasn't are talking about. Staff were fantastic and made us more than welcome. Bouncers were great, really polite and friendly. Definitely get a table. Other people there really friendly and soon with loads of people. Best night out me and my friends have had in ages. Definitely recommended highly.

Ive been here twice now once for my birthday with my partner and a few friends and we loved it. The doorstaff were spot on not too strict and not too casual. The interior decor and lighting is superb, and gives it a very funk yet fashionable feel. The crowd was hip, trendy and unusually friendly, not like most other trendy clubs in london where everyone is extremly pretentious. Champagne and bottles are flowing throughout the evening and if your lucky enough to get into the VIP section u might see a celeb, we were and loved it. Best thing of all it dosnt close till 6am so you really can party till you drop. I thought it was so good i went back again last weekend and i was alone waiting for some friends, i got chatting to some girls and they invited me over to theyre table to socialise. Great Club, Great Location. Double Mixers start at £8 and they stock everything from Moet to Crystal. Will definatley be returning.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!
I went to 50 Dover Street at the weekend. Read points below to see why I think you should save your money and go somewhere else! Mahiki across the road is far far better!
1. the bouncers are incredible rude.. my friend left her coat in there and when I asked to go back in there they refused so I had to ask a random person in the queue if she'd mind getting it for us!
2. The people who drink in there are so far up their own ar*es its unreal!!!! Just because mummy and daddy have spoilt them wrotten they look down on people who aren't drinking champagne and wearing an outfit from Gucci!
3. If you decide to leave the club for a ciggy then the bouncers will make your life hell and try and get you to pay another £20 to go back in!
4. There is no queue, just lots of people pushing and shoving, and a hoard of bodies... the bouncers are PATHETIC!
I have never been to such a shi* club. There were two good things about it... the sax player (very talented) and the choiice of music! That is about it!

Couldnt agree more what a pile of sh**. its a little basement with out dateed decor, look at somewhere like 24 in carnaby street, thats what you could have done with a re ferb,
the food was just a pile of slop on a plate and for the silly high price per head we paid , all i can say is what a waste of money, and celebs hmm only seen z listers there when i have been lol, and jesse metcalf lol, hardly a major celeb now , im guessing he came cheap lol, some advice guys save your money ,and spend it somewhere better, heres an idea mahiki , there are plenty of much better clubs, just becaue its mayfair does not mean they have to treat tthe customers like animals. all in all what a waste of time it is. - Report
