The 1st May sees the first official Dark Side party take place at 54, and with a line up including the Geordie techno warriors, Bigger Than Jesus, who have not only played at the countries biggest nights such as Back to Basics, Ketoloco and Tribal Sessions, but already had releases on labels such as cool Danish Minimal peddlers, Tic Tac Toe, UFO, sister to Ralph Lawson’s famous 20/20 vision label, and T.F.E which also happens to be home to current front runner of the scene, Jesse Rose. True tech-heads with a passion for partying, a talent behind the decks and in the studio, and one of the fastest rising profiles in the business. Ket House at its best.
Joining them in the booth will be Max Cooper, the London based DJ famed for his second to none technical skills behind the decks. His logical approach to sound provides endless techno magic throughout his sets and leave little doubt in the mind as to why his productions are endlessly well received and supported by some of the industries biggest acts, and make serious waves in the techno Mecca of Germany after signing to Autist Records and Traum Schallplatten.
Having already released on and remixed for the likes of CR2 and Toolroom at the age of 24. Tony Gomez is skipping through the ranks with furious pace. A hard working and incredibly talented DJ and Producer, Tony is more than deserving of the success he is now enjoying, and will be a welcome edition to the already mammoth line up.
With support from 54's very own massively talented Swedish production trio, Sour Grapes, and Siberian house and techno wonderboy, iZerg, who are on course for domination of the scene following their winning tracks release on 54 and their life-changing trip to the WMC, you can rest assured the techno, minimal and tech house side to 54 will be launched with a disgraceful bang.
