sexiest cocktails I have ever had!
Went to a Birthday party @ Albert & Pearl with my wife a few months ago.
The place is nicely decorated but the music is awful.
The bar food was tasty, albeit small portion sizes.
My wife enjoyed the Mojitos, and I stuck to the extensive wine list.
The service was fast and attentive, managers seemed a bit snobbish for my liking, but the rest of the staff were ok.
A door fee of 3 pounds per person was a little bit off putting,
however, after meeting to lovely ladies on the door, the door host and the female security, it was well worth it. They are absolute sweet hearts! They did a 2 for one deal, and promised us a full refund, should we not like the place, as my wife can't stand noisy environments due to her disability. They were very warm and welcoming, so we will definately be coming back.
Good cocktails, minus for door fee.
Are they open during christmas?
I was at the Albert and pearl for the 1st time last week and was really surprised at how cool it was.i went with a group of friends for after work drinks and was really impressed, the music was good and we really liked the crowd,we ended up staying there till the end of the night. Will definitely be going again.
I have to say that their staff here are so lovely and accommodating, way more than the usual bar service. I found it by mistake and loved every moment especially as the night I came they had some vintage rythym and blues, 50's & 60's soul DJ playing, I think it's called Real Gone apparently every 1st Thursday of the month. Sexy cocktails and great music is what I call a great way to wined down from work. A massive thumbs up!!!! x
I organised some very last minute birthday drinks at Albert and Pearl (literally phoned them up about 2 days before the saturday i wanted) Spoke to Jacintha who was really helpful and suggested an area (Alberts bar room which is upstairs) for my friends and I.
Cool decor, helpful staff, good music, great cocktails (you should try pearls punch!) I'll definitely be going back....
Awesome! Such a fab evening. Heard about it via the grapevine, having worked in Islington for over 3 years thought I knew all the hot spots! But as it only opened 4 months ago I think I can be forgiven for missing it! Went in at about 7ish with a mate not realising that they served food, really good italian anti pasti and nibbles. I'm a cheese freak so I was rather easy to please and my friend had the monkfish balls with the best tuscan pate he reckoned he'd ever had.
After speaking with a member of staff, we found out that they have djs on fridays and satuday nights. So I decided to bring the girls around much later in the evening, and boy did we get properly mashed up listening to Dj Gareth, I think it was. Note to self, anything more that 4 espresso martinis followed by 4 of their signature cocktails 'tropical Nonsense' is lethal.
