I know everybody say great things about this place but...really appreciate the absolute amazing treat me and my guest received on my 31st birthday party! they allowed me to bring me my own cake and also gave me a free bottle of champagne!!!! had the best birthday ever! THANKS! absolutely recommend this place!

Had my brother's birthday party at Anam last Friday and what an amazing time we all had!!! we took advantage of the drink promotion so the craziness took over the place! we reserved the amber lounge seating area also we went downstairs where to the Dj bar, great music, fantastic staff. classy venue and a great atmosphere I highly recommend Anam bar. Busy and vibrant, but £29 for a bottle of very ordinary prosecco?! And if they offer to take your coat, be aware that you will automatically be charged £1, they're not just being friendly.

Had booked Anam before for my boyfriend's surprise birthday party and decided to have my hen party there in a small area with a few tables for my girlfriends in the dj bar. Had a great time, DJ was awesome he played my favourite tunes! very nice cocktails , classy atmosphere and friendly staff, just like the first time I went :)
Highly recommended!

Had my party in Anam bar last saturday, had a great evening! firstly like say I loved the venue: great design,also helpful staff made all my guest welcome, thanks guys! good drinks also dj played requests. Definitely will be visiting again next time in angel!

Went to Anam for my birthday last night (sat), had an amazing time, which started off with the manager moving my group party to the bigger seating area (cheers mate), having most of the bar (downstairs) to ourselves as the England v usa match was on! The place livened up after the match, and the dj came on, who played a wide selection of good music, and took every song request we asked for ("thank you") however I think we bribed him with my birthday cake! Lols and had the entire bar sing me "happy Birthday"all in all a really nice bar, great service, good food, ace dj, and a cool selection of drinks. Anam bar you get a thumbs up from the Patel Clan!

I Went for a mates birthday. I was only planning to stay shortly but the dj kept me in till the end. There is a new dj there and he was and is! Wicked! I dont know how come he's playing in such a small venue. He was ridiculously good. I always listen to top dj's and only the taleneted djs. This guy was Live vinyl djiing from computer, scratching and mixing everything from 80's to pop, rnb, house, soul, funk, rock to commercial cheese everything good under the sun. Never did he clang a mix nor near to screw up. He just kept them coming. Dj sr got your card and number - will be hiring you and telling people about you! Bigging up this dj cos he needs it! He shouldnt be playing in that venue. Fair do's. The venue is good for parties and drinks are all good. But it seems like no one is giving him a chance. He should be in Fabric or Ministry. So I'll do my bit and say. "this young good looking asian guy is a top notch dj. Download his mixes from his website."you gta go to Anam while he is still there. Im gna be in touch with him and continue going to Anam whilst he is still there! Go to Anam just for dj sr. He will make the night something to remember! Carol x x x x x x

Went to Anam for my friends birthday on Sat night. Wicked Wicked night! Drinks were well dosed with alchohol. Not stingey is the word and the music was A. M. A. Z. I. N. G! The dj was a serious professional! Dunno how he mixed and scratched the songs like that but he was truly amazing and played all my tracks. Never have I heard a dj that good unless you go for big named djs. Did I mention he was fit as! One of the best looking asian guys! Oh yeh. Me likey! Coming back there again! Okay, i know there are loads of reviews on this website that are actually by the owners/promoters of the website but this is properly authentic!

i organized a 3 way b-day for me and my mates here on Friday (the 3rd of July) and we had a great time!

Even though our party cam in drips and drabs they were so cool about it and still gave me back my deposit.

Friday night is like hit night and they played all the good hits and of course MJ (RIP). so brilliant.

everyone was dancing and everything.the cocktails, now don't even get me started. they are ACTUALLY worth the money. they used real fruit and generous measures.

very tasty and fruity.we stayed until 3am (even tho they said they were only open until 2 but stayed open for us!) and just yeah.

the bathroom has a fish tank where you can see inside of the gent's toilets. ahahah

the only downside is that at some point someone took of their shoes or something so there was a smell for like 30 min.

also some scuzzy guy kept trying to hit on me but that's not the club's fault!i will say tho, it looked like someone was about to be sick and the management was good to get him outside so quick so he wouldn't ruin everyone's evening!

I booked Anam for my friend's hen do and we had a fantastic night.

The staff were very friendly and joined in with the fun all night. The music was excellent and the DJ would play pretty much any request.

The cocktails are fab and very alcoholic! I would recommend this for any group party booking or anyone just looking for a good night out.

I hired the Red Room in Anam Bar on Saturday 6th June 2009 for my 25th birthday. Had an absolutely amazing night - staff, dj and cocktails were fantastic.

Having the area by the dj is good for big groups who have some people who want to dance, others who want to drink and those that want to do both! There was about 45 of us on Saturday and everyone loved the venue. I can't wait to go back!
