I visited Annies Bar on Sunday evening a few days ago with some friends and found it to be busy, vibrant and lively. It was a Karaoke evening and there were a few very talented singers (and of course a few not so talented !). My opinion was that the drink prices were rather on the the high side, (£12.60 for a Malt Whisky and a Glass of Wine). However my main criticism as follows may seem petty to some, but this is was has caused me to comment on this site : Whilst ordering some drinks I asked for a "packet of Salted Peanuts", the barmaid dissapeared out the back and returned with a small square dish with peanuts in it, the cost of this was £2.00. These nuts didn't taste nice and fresh like the ones that you get in the small airtight bags, which incidentaly normally cost less than a pound in most bars. This is obviously a way of generating a lot of income from a large bag of cheap inferior peanuts kept in the back room out of view, but at what cost to the "Customer Experience" ?

I've booked the downstairs bar for my birthday and had a fantastic time with my friends and family!
Definitely coming back since the prices and atmosphere are decent.
The change in Annie's bar is amazing. It's perfect for a quiet drink with the boyfriend or a night out with the girls.
I recently went to the Big Pie festival being held there. While there were a few sound system hiccups, everything else seemed to run smoothly.
Even when the place was heaving, service was extremely quick and I was rarely left waiting more than five minutes.
The decor it top notch.I'd highly recommend checking out the downstairs toilets. I won't spoil the surprise here though!
I went to Annie's last week not really knowing what to expect...in fact I thought it was a wine bar because I hadn't really been listening when told about it.
I thought it was great...the decor immediately puts you in party mood and the drinks and friendly service all added to it.
Excellent evening....definitely going again

This place has changed beyond belief ! Finally somewhere decent to go in Kentish Town !!!
Auntie Annies Porter House is definitely the best pub in Kentish Town. It's very well run, the beer & service is excellent. Auntie Annies Porter House is a great sports pub as well
