We went for a girly night out on a sunday. I have to agree with all the other posts the drinks were pricey and the bar staff were so rude. The doormen were total perverts but i guess there nothin new there. When we got in it was empty and the music was on quite low and it seemed to be full on girls. But after midnight it picked up. the music was good, rnb, funky house etc. We met a group of guys who thought they were high rollers and so we didnt have to buy any more drinks for the rest of the evening which was a bonus considering they were so expensive. So after a couple of drinks we all had a really good time. Id say that aura's the type of place you go on pay day if you want to splash some cash and if your not adverse to having drinks bought for you by guys who think they're flash.

Ridiculously over-priced for what it is and seriously rude management. For a club that charges £20 entrance fee and £10 for a drink, I find this quite frankly outrageous. I would suggest there are a multitude of similar places to Aura in London that can offer better music, reasonably priced drinks and a more friendly crowd.

I was expecting a lot from this club when I saw it's website, so I was disappointed when I got there.

the first thing I can say about it is that the staff are very rude. The drinks were really expensive (all of us payed over £10 per drink). The barman didn't have change for a £20 and asked me if I had a 50p. When I couldn't find one, he gave me a look and slammed the money down (there was no-one else at the bar waiting to be served).

The club itself is very small and nothing spectacular to look at, although it has 2 nice chandeliers. You'd have to pay me to go back.

I go out in London quite often, to some really nice clubs. This was my first time at Aura, and I wasn't impressed. The decor's nice and the music was ok, but the staff were rude and didn't make the slightest effort to make us feel welcome. We were charged a £10 service charge for a bottle of wine, and that was bar service - not table service! I wouldn't go there again, it really isn't worth the money.

I had the misfortune to eat at this club last Christmas. The food was absolutely disgusting. It was served just below lukewarm, congealed and overcooked. The staff serving were amongst the rudest I've ever come across. I'm sure the Aura is fine as a nightclub, but never eat there.

I went to Aura on Saturday with a big group and it was very good. The staff were very nice, and the music was good. The drinks were a bit expensive, but the night was very good so made up for it. Definitely worth going to.

I turned 40 a couple of weeks ago and wanted to celebrate somewhere chic and swanky.

I had my birthday dinner with 5 friends and another 10 friends joined us afterwards in the club on Sat 12th April. It was my birthday on 13th and therefore we celebrated at midnight.

What an evening!! Matt the the manager was absolutely fantastic, the food is super quality (I am a qualified food inspector) and the service was great. Although the kitchen did get the timing a bit messed up, Matt and another girl (don't know her name) made up for it by making us feel so special during the rest of the evening.

Every time one of my guest arrived at the door, Matt would personally go to the door and fetch that person, what a star!!!

The music was good, funky with some R&B tunes, not too radical but still on a mainstream. The people were mixed age and styles, nothing rough, which is what I wanted.

Perfect place for a classy, unpretentious evening. Thank you Matt.

Aura on a Friday is a bit of a strange affair. A nice enough club, with nice clientele and atmosphere, but who their target market is, is a little confused. One minute Old school House, followed by RnB, then funky House. We spent the night like yo-yos getting up to dance and then promptly sitting back down a bit. A bit of clarity and consistency wouldn't go a miss. Never-the-less, nice enough.

If hip hop and r'n'b is your thing, head to Aura on a Sunday night - outstanding!! It went down hill for a few months, but I went back last weekend and had a fantastic night. You'll need to be on a guest list as they can be quite harsh on the door. No VIP area inside which means everyone is there to socilaise and have a great time. Even celebs get equal treatment. Drinks are overpriced but the music more than compensates. The guys were slighly lacking in quality. Its a shame when clubs let in slimey idiots because they buy a table - it makes a girls' night hard work! But regardless - I'll be going again for sure.

Amazing Dj!!!! Totally!! I just sat there listening as it was the most amzing mix of songs well mixed together...very good variety of songs old school to new house beats!!! So cool!!! Aura who ever that lady was last week wednesday playing at your club..dont let her go as shes the only reason i would come back! The drinks are sooo overprised 8 pounds for class of wine...umm id rather stay sober and just dance!!! Nice decor..even the fact that there was no dancefloor and people were dancing around tables didnt bother me.in fact it made the club more intimate.

I visited Aura last Friday and had a fantastic time. The drinks were slightly expensive but considering the location it was expected.
When we arrived we didn't have to queue for that long and i found the door staff to be firm but still friendly and very efficient. When we got in we went to the bar where a happy barman made us some delicious cocktails! We then decided to get a table where we recieved very professional service by gorgeous waitresses who made our night that much more fun.

The music was very much mixed genres which i liked.

I would definatly recommend Aura to anyone and can't wait to go back and try the food as our company has now booked our Chritmas party there!

I went to Aura last Saturday and will never be going back. This used to be one of my favourite clubs in London and my boyfriend and I used to go there regularly. This time I went with another couple and we each paid £20.00 on the door. The most miserable woman in London was on the door this night, which is a nice way for a club to greet its guests!


The music at Aura Kitchen and Bar was crap, the same boring mixture of music that you get everywhere in the West End these days. And the bar lady that served us was as bad as the woman on the door, with a face like thunder who was clearly making up drink prices as she went along - £58.00 for 4 Jack Daniels and Cokes and a bottle of water! I've been to Aura many times and never paid so much for drinks. I really wouldn't bother with this place!

We booked Aura Kitchen and Bar last week and expected a really great night. The service was very slow and when the food turned up, it was nothing special at all. We paid over £360.00 for our meal and drinks. After we had eaten within 10 minutes of finishing we were asked to leave our table for a bunch of 20 year old yuppies, going out spending their parents money.


Then at the bar we were asked for another £20.00 to stay. By this time we had spent well over £500.00 and the staff treated us like crap. We would not give Aura Bar and Kitchen one star. Minus twenty is more like it. I suggest that you save your moeny and gp elsewhere. There are plenty decent, friendly places to go in the City and this one isn't one of them.

Aura Kitchen and Bar was very poor and disappointing to me after I heard and expected great things. The attitude of the manager and staff was pure snobbishness, and very money orientated. I can afford the prices but was totally treated as second class citizen as I didn't feel the need to wave my money around.


I had dinner there and at no point was I offered the opportunity of keeping my table - I was just shoved off. When I bought champagne at bar there was nowhere to place the cooler. One is expected to dance with glass in hand and a cooler on head. In the end left champagne in middle of floor as that's what is expected and left. I will never return to Aura Kitchen and Bar, as there are far better clubs in London with a better vibe and attitude.

Aura Kitchen and Bar was way over priced and the staff were unfriendly. We paid £20.00 to get in and two drinks were £21.00. I know London can be expensive, but those prices are criminal! We were asked to move from our seat within 10 minutes of sitting down, and when we found another table, we were then asked to move from that one. Having asked where we we could sit, we were told we couldn't sit any where!


I got the impression that Aura Kitchen and Bar is reserved for the stupidly rich who are fool enough to spend such obscene amounts of money on a night out. Needless to say, we left after we finished our drinks. In total we were there for half an hour which put us £61.00 out of pocket, which is a total rip off!

Aura |Kitchen and Bar is probably the best club in London. It was really busy last Tuesday, but then again who wants to go to an empty club. I had a great time and loved the music. The staff at Aura Kitchen and Bar weren't rude which was surprisng as every decent club has rude staff nowadays!

Aura Kitchen and Bar has zero atmosphere and rude staff - especially the ignorant doormen. My friend had a guestlist from Aura's own PA and the idiots at the door kept 12 people sitting outside for an hour even though the place was empty and there was no queue. Of course, the uneducated goon said he would do us all a "favour" if we would just give him GBP20 each, even though we were there well before 10pm. For anyone from NY, this place is what is known as "for bridge & tunnel people" - go at your own risk!

I loved Aura Kitchen and Bar. Food was great, service was fantastic, very exclusive but still friendly. Once inside, music was the best in London by far. Just like the parties in the south of France. Loved it.

Plus the people at Aura Kitchen and Bar were hot. All of them. Didn't think this could happen in London.

Please do not go to Aura Kitchen and Bar. I have never experienced such a rude and arrogant restaurant/bar/club (whatever they wish to call themselves) in my life.

After spending 5 hours there and a considerable amount of money, they asked us to vacate our table. The supervisor asked the waitress to 'get rid of these randoms' despite the fact we had spent over £1,000.

We I asked the supervisor why she had said that about us she simply shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Aura Kitchen and Bar is not a place you want to be at.

Aura Kitchen and Bar is a rip-off in my opinion. They tried to charge me £20.00 and wouldn't let me even look around. This was after I told them that I was on the guestlist for Aura Bar and Kitchen. I told them it was not supposed to be £20.00 (should be £10.00 according to the Viewlondon site), but they refused to even consider it so I left.

Aura Kitchen and Bar: Rude Doormen. Terrible service. Over priced.

Do not book a table for dinner at this place and expect to stay for the club later - they take your restaurant bill and then kick you out so that they can maximise revenues from clubbers queuing at the door! Food is only average so not worth it for dinner only...
