WE HAD A BLAST.Everything was perfect and went off really well.GREAT VENUE – AWESOME MUSIC – LOVED IT - INFACT WE ALL LOVED ITThank so much for organising –Thanks again Aimee
I went to Jamdown Last week to see Henry Blake and the drunken dancers..woooooo!! it was great we had a brilliant time, lovely space to dance in and we have never been to the blag before but after last friday I think we will come again!
I absolutely loved this venue. I celebrated my 25th birthday here with about 30 of my mates & reserved seats. The staff was very friendly, polite & helpful. I loved the atmosphere, crowd and the vibe. I will most certainly go again & would highly recommend it. Me & my mates had a wicked time.
I called up and booked in over the phone with a really friendly guy called Nick. Within 5mins i had a table sorted. All the other clubs i tried calling never picked up or even got back to me.
Service on the night was simple but just want i needed - quick barstaff and decent prices. Why arent all bars like this in London! Get yourself down there.
I also went down to the Launch night last Friday - Jamdown or something like that.
I had a wicked night there and met the Cuban Bros too. Classic! Apparently they will be DJing here next month. If they are getting involved with this place, then i am certainly coming back. Good job blagclub.
Fab night on Friday guys, thanks a million for making my night so special!Tsvettixxx
A quick thanks to the blag for helping me organise my friends surprise bday bash, very helpful staff. Cheers blag
Last weekend I went to the new Friday night Jamdown and had a ball of a time, crazy party, crazy times! Really cool little Friday night spot, I recommend it.
I organised a party with the blagclub last weekend after being blown out by my original choice and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service at such late notice. We arrived at 8.30pm ish and had a table reserved, we were greeted by the manager and given a complimentary drink on the house! Whats more at the end of the night we were given free entry cards to the Ladbroke grove blagclub which was open to 3am! All in all a great service, with wonderful staff and a super ethos. Thanks so much guys see you again somewhere along the line.
friday night at the blagclub was storming! We organised a reserved area (which was really easy to do btw, just one phone call!) and they even let me bring some finger food for my guests. The manager Scott greeted me on the way in and showed us to our area handing me a glass of champers on the house, which was a very nice touch;)We had a lovely evening, a great mix of party tunes and the DJ actually played our requests, something that doesn't always happen! The decor and the club are fantastic, it has a really nice secret hidden serene kind of atmosphere so we shall most certainly be returning to the blag soon.It was open till 3am as well which was perfect for my lot cause we like to party till late. highly recommended that you visit the blag xxx
I was out and about down on Westbourne Grove with some mates when this cute promo girl told us about this venue. Funky House club night open until 3am and just round the corner.
I thought it would be tough to get in, but everyone is really chilled and friendly and there was almost no queueing after midnight either. Bonus!!
It is very like Westbourne Studios but much cheaper at the bar.
This is a little gem i had no idea about. Definitely a place to check out.
after having a bash at the notting Hill Gate blag I decided to give this one a crack and I have to say I was pleasently surprised!
I called up and arranged a guestlist for myself and a group of us. We were given free entry and we had two tables reserved for us on arrival. The Dj's played some great tracks from funky house!! to RnB (which I'm not overly keen on but a lot of my friends are) and was open till 3am!. I have to say the one thing I notice about the blag is that they look after their guests, If you call and book in with them they will make sure you are looked after on the night.
Once again, thanks blag for a great night!
I went here last saturday night for a birthday bash. The Decor and the atmosphere in the club was great. My lot love the funky house and love to move. Def worth a revist
After reading very positive reviews about this place I decided to give it a go & booked it for a party of 20 for my birthday. When I arrived at the venue I was bitterly disappointed!!! It was like an old converted school with dodgy drapes & throws used to disguise the walls. It was the most random place I have ever been to! Despite this, I decided to not dwell & enjoy myself as I was in good company & it was my birthday (can I also say that for a converted school the drinks were way too expensive). However, as the night drew on everyone it seemed the bouncers were itching for a fight. They were hovering around several parties waiting to pounce. When one of them did he was so heavy handed that it took everyone by surprise!!! I was so angry & disappointed with this place. Please do not waste you time!!!
I went down for a friends bday and we all had a great time.
The staff were really friendly and helpful - they looked after us all very well. I would definitely use the venue again.
3am finish too! how cool is that?!
This place does live music at the start of the night and then DJs afterwards.
Definitely a great venue for a quality Saturday night out. I definitely recommend it.
Was having a really good night at the Blag, until the bouncers went nuts on a party of guests who were having a good night in. Really ruined the whole night for everyone there and for no reason.
I was there on Saturday and had a quality night. Top tunes till the early hours.
Reasonable prices too. £5 to get in after 9pm!
I had a brilliant time at this club. Last weekend they had a wicked band playing. My friends and i were dancing from the start.
The club goes on to 3am as well - needless to say it was a great night.
Highly recommended
Went down to the blag on Kensal Road on Saturday night for a Funky House night and had to mention what a great venue it was for a party. Great atmopshere in a smart club without the hassles of pricey drinks and agro.
I had no idea it went on until 3am either - Nice surprise!!
I organised a birthday party on Friday night at the Holland Park Blag Club.
The night went without a hitch thanks to a great venue, even better staff and great music. If your looking for a classy night out with the best atmosphere in London head to Blag.
It was amazing!!!
On Saturday 8th September 2007 I celebrated my graduation here. This night added to my success; the vibe was nice, the people were great and the staff were even better. If you're looking for a mature night out then blagclub is the place.
Wicked night out in Kensal Road. If you are into old skool soul and disco then this is where to be on Friday nights. blagclub Kensal Road is now my regular - see you for some blagging!
Saturday nights at Blacgclub are brilliant! Non-pretentious crowd of age 25 upwards and the music hit the spot with RnB, soul, funky house, ragga, soca. A real good mixture of music and people. Drinks are not badly priced either which is refreshing! A good night out.
Safe to say that everyone of my friends that made it to the Blagclub, both on and off the guest list, will not forget that night. I will recommend Blagclub in helping to facilitate an awesome night.
I had a fantastic time at blgclub and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book the blagclub for my next party.
blagclub is a great funky venue, with a unique feel to it. There is a good mix of seating and dancing too, which is good for the varied people we all have in our groups.
blagclub is a wicked venue that is not too big and not too small. You get a get a nice balance between intimacy and a club night out at blagclub.
What an easy way to party! I was given a guestlist that got me and all my mates in free as long as we got there early, and we even got a table at no cost. The venue is awesome too, with funky designs and emblems everywhere.
Nice mixed crowd at blagclub and good prices on the bar so all in all a top experience.
Finally a stylish venue in the heart of West London without the pretentiousness that seems to stem from so many venues in London nowadays. blagclub has cheap drinks, good staff and good ecclectic tunes. Blagclub is highly recommended.
I like blagclub a lot! It's small enough to be intimate and social able, but also big enough to feel like you are in a salubrious, spacious environment. I invited 40 friends for my birthday on a Saturday night. We all got in free and joined up with other parties who were all up for a laugh without the attitude.
It was my best birthday yet. I will be back next year, although I think my mates will reap the rewards of my research and throw their parties at blagclub too, so maybe it will be sooner. I hope so.
Contrary to another review - I have been to blagclub many times and have never had any problems with the venue or the staff, quite the opposite in fact. I have always found the staff to be very welcoming and polite and as for the DJs not knowing what to play - utter nonsense - are you sure you were at blagclub? blagclub is a fantastic venue and I defy anyone who says otherwise.
blagclub has changed - it is now my favourite place to go. This place is great, simple as that really! Friday nights are the best if you like a mix of old skool RnB, Hip Hop and Funk. The crowd is usually 25+ so if you prefer mixing with a bunch of drunk 18 year olds this isn't the place for you.
DJs on Fridays are Mastermind and they play the best of old skool mixed with just the right amount of new upfront Hip Hop.
Drink prices are reasonable for London and the vibe is wicked. I would go to blagclub more often if I wasn't so broke!
Well, where do I begin? blagclub is possibly one of the worst clubs I have ever been to. The drinks are not that expensive but the venue is awful. blagclub is too small, smokey and just generally uncomfortable.
The staff are incredibly rude and agressive with absolutely no PR skills or manners.
The music at blagclub was ok although I ended up telling the DJ what he should play which resulted in people getting up and dancing. You'd think a DJ would know that as part of his job!
blagclub is clearly run by unexperienced clubbers let alone managers! I wouldn't go to any of the blagclubs again even if they were the last clubs on earth. Trust me, as a big London clubber, don't waste your time on blagclub!
The blagclub in Kensal Road is one of my favourite hangouts. It's quirky, comfy and relaxing but it also knows how to get a party going at the weekends. Great spot!
Went to the blagclub in Canalot Studios in the summer and was very pleased with the venue. Good young funky crowd, fair sized and well stocked bar with a decent music policy.
The toilets are a bit of a way away from the bar (actually inside the studios) but that's just me being picky!
