B’Lo is a trendy lounge that epitomises Chelsea: from the decoration to the drinks, expect a touch of glamour and cool exclusivity. You will find it just as enjoyable as the people inviting you there.

The Venue
Past the red carpeted private entrance and the small outdoor patio, you will discover that B’Lo is located in a basement split into several rooms. Intimacy and comfort are its most visible quality. The decor is Morocco-inspired, with walls painted in warm yellow, vibrant purple and intense blue. Mirrors, curtains, wooden panels and cut-out lamps complete the affect, while leather benches, stools and even a king-size bed furnish the space. The bar is located at the far end opposite the entrance. In the space adjacent to it, the DJ spins music and there is space to dance.

The Atmosphere
Who hangs out here? It depends on who is with you on the guest list! The general vibe reflects the crowd that has been invited: B’Lo is a central Chelsea venue and, as such, most events are thrown by trendy, young and wealthy locals celebrating a birthday or an engagement, although the occasional corporate event happens here as well. B’Lo, with a capacity of up to 150 people, is definitely best enjoyed with a crowd of friends wanting to have a good time.

The Drink
The bar does not cater to any eccentricity: their menu is pretty mainstream. Prices, while reflective of the Chelsea address, are not completely unreasonable. Bottled beers are priced at £3.60, double spirits at £6, shots start at £3.40 and a glass of champagne goes for £7: obviously they sell bottles as well and, in case you feel like sparing £275, ask for a bottle of the notorious Cristal to be opened! A handful of wines appear as well but, predictably, cocktails are the popular choice here.

The Last Word
If you have a sexy, fun birthday party to organise then this Chelsea location may be exactly what you are looking for, provided you have fun friends and some dosh to spare.
