The club itself is quite a place. From the outside you wouldn't say it's a nice club, but once in the first thing which comes to your eyes is definitely the decorations, furniture etc.. the toilets are awesome! There are two rooms: the RnB one is really small but looks very nice and the other one is like a big lounge and music is a mix of everything, ranging from dance/commercial to trance etc. I actually like the second room as its got a wicked dj and sometimes there are dancers around.
Drinks are ridiculously overpriced, bouncers are just a bunch of twats and it's full of headless chicks looking for a nice footballer/ugly loaded worker to shag and take the following day shopping.
What I'm trying to say is that the staff, much as they look like top models, are just a bunch of idiots who charge you loads of money and give just shit back to you.
To be honest, I'd rather go to a place which is maybe not as wicked as China White but where at least I'm respected not just as a client but as a person as well.

My friend and I had one of our best nights ever at China White. Everyone was really friendly and there was a great crowd. We had our own table so space to dance and talk. It was a great atmosphere and will definitly be back there soon!

If you are looking for a club, where the door staff treat you like you're skum and they're kings....where the dancefloor is soo cramped you have just enough room to slightly sway....where the bouncers walk around and look at you as though you're in a prison cell....where you pay a fortune for 1 drink..which is served to you by a stuck up delusional member of bar staff and finally..if you're looking for a club..which has the ability to make you want to leave as soon as you get there....then i highly recommend chinawhite!

Although filled with 'celeberities' i had the most disgustin experience at the door. My friend booked a table ...paid 500 for it..and not all her friends could celebrate her bday with her. And the Reasons given by the door staff were appauling. Saying how they were not lettin men in. When they were clearly lettin other men in. The staff on the door have no manners, no customer service, and have no respect for the very people that pay the salary. Dont Waste ur money on a club that clearly have no respect for the customers.

A friend of mine had been trying to organise a big night out to chinawhite before he had to leave london at the end of university and i had been dreading it- from what i had heard about chinawhite it was where losers from big brother and celebrity love island go to mingle with orange girls with bottle blonde hair. and it was. plus the drinks were to much and the music terrible. my friend said it would be a once in a lifetime experience- it certainly will be for me.

I went to Chinawhite on a wednesday night. The music was excellent and the atmosphere brilliant until a bouncer rudely shoved me out of his way, resulting in me cutting my leg open on one of the low tables! I was standing there with blood running down my leg and all he did was look me up and down, kiss his teeth (can you believe that!) and walk off. I went to the ladies room too clean up but the blood would not stop flowing! A very very nice bouncer saw the situation and kindly went and got me a plaster, which he promptly proceeded to put on the cut himself despite my protests! We did have a table booked that night (the one that resulted in my injury lol) and spent a generous amount of money on bottles of spirit; which we were later accused of stealing! I found this to be the final straw of the night and (in a classy manner) told the accusing bar staff exactly what i thought of her. The manager did become involved and admitted that we had indeed payed for it, but then asked us to leave and never come back! So all in all, what could have been an amazing venue to spend my night in became a complete shambles. Thanks for the £3000 bill china, have fun employing more pretentious d**k heads with it!

Had a great night at Chinawhite. I have to say, it totally differed from what I expected. I thought I was going out for a night of fun with my friends and laughing at desperate wannabes and z-z list celebs; however what I ended up with was just a purely fabulous time! It has to be the most fun of the 'prestige' clubs in London I have been to. Far from people trying to look cool, pretty and perfect, everyone here is concentrating on having fun and nothing more. The atmosphere is friendly, the music varied but consistantly playing floor-fillers, people (we were some of them) were dancing on the couches, chatting and genreally getting on great. I loved every minute and would definitely come back.

Chinawhite is one of those places that people love to hate but having been there regularly over the past few years I have nothing but great things to say about it. The staff are genuine and helpful and the music never fails to have the dancefloor heaving. A good mix of different promoters means the crowd is never the same although Weds nights are a firm favourite. I would definately recommend Chinawhite to someone looking for somewhere to go out in the West End - it is obviously doing something right seeing as it has been going strong for almost a decade!

I have been going to Chinawhite for many years and strongly believe that it has maintained its value as an awesome party.
Nowadays, the pretence has gone and everyone decends upon the venue at 1am to really let their hair down after hopping from one venue to the next to people spot. At least at Chinawhite they are guarenteed to have an excellent time!
I went last Wednesday to be greeted with queues around the block and inside it was going crazy!
I would advise you all to ignore those that didnt get in for one reason or another and so spent their time writing pointless comments on this page, to go and sample it yourselves...

Chinawhite is an awesome club! I went there on a wednesday about a month ago with a big group of friends, and we had a table in the main room. The door staff are less than helpful, however when you get through the door you walk down the stairs and walk into the main room which is amazing. Impressively designed with lots of pillows everywhere and a low level ceiling giving off an intimate atmosphere for the crowd. Lots of gorgeous women, expensive drinks but a really good club, and worth the money you pay! Pure west end class with out the pretentiousness that so many of these clubs have adopted.

Yes it pretentious, and yes the doorstaff can be rude - but that's their problem so get over it. Go to China with a group of friends and you'll have a fab night! Mid-week is better - far too commercial on a fri/sat. Wedesday is the best night - plays some great hip hop tunes, Tuesdays its the same - but too many girls that have just stepped out of New Look. Girls - dress to impress and keep is classy, (it's either boob or leg, not both). As with all clubs, the guys are a real pick and mix,but we're talking Harrods here, not woolworths. Go to China looking hot, being polite and with a few notes in your pocket and you'll have a fantastic night!

CHINAWHITE? More like CHINASHITE!!

First of all, I went there on Saturday with a group of my family for my mum's birthday. We were all put on the guestlist, and had a table booked personally by the owner. However, on arrival, we were quite rudely and abruptly sent to the back of the queue and had to wait for an hour in the cold, holding a massive cake.

Then, when we got to the front of the queue, we were literally shoved away from the queue whilst being told that we were not on the list and could not come in.

We then demanded to see the owner of the club, who promptly informed them that we were on the list and that we should be escorted to our table immediately.

When inside, we tried to order drinks, only to be told that we cannot buy what we wanted and had to buy what we did not want. Following our second complaint to the owner, after about 45 mins, we were allowed to order what we wanted.

Finally, the DJ wasn't fantastic, most of the clientele were awful and the staff (particularly the door staff) were ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS!! It's a shame really because I used to adore going to Chinawhite, but since one of the owners dropped out, standards have really plummeted!!

Chinawhites is a venue I can't quite decide if I like.
On the one hand I've never had a problem with the staff, the drinks are no more pricey than other West End clubs, and the music is always fresh, exciting and innotive.
But it has a strange atmosphere. Nobody really seems to know what to do with themselves and as a result you see a lot of awkward posing.
The dance floor is incredibly small - Prepare to be bashed several times with this season's clutch of choice.
But apart from all those small quibbles every guest is treated as a VIP. Which is how it should be.
I've never had an amazing night at Chinawhites, but this is mainly due to the types that frequent it.
It's definately worth a night checking it out though. You'll either love it or hate it.....

Have only signed up to this website to express my complete dissatisfaction with this pretentious, overpriced shithole. I went with a group as an afterparty to a show and was most unimpressed. The decor looked like a cheesy oriental themed restaurant. The female staff were afflicted with delusions of grandeur way above their status as bar worker. The drinks were overpriced. And to top it off the dancefloor was so tiny I had to hop with my hands in the air rather than throwing out the shapes I am famous for. This club is so shit and overrated it fills me with rage. Go to Lost Society in Clapham - much more worthwhile.

Well I must say I was horrified at the inadequacies of this establishment.
The doormen were rude and oafish, the staff sloppy and not servile enough for my liking.
And the selection of China was practically non-existant.
I had to go to Libertys to revive my senses.
I will never come into the West End again and would urge all my friends to do the same.

I've never had a problem at Chinawhite and have been going for years. From a work point of view, I've actually found that the service is really friendly and that the night goes smoothly for myself and my guests. This is why I go back, because when I've taken my clients to other West End clubs I've had many things go wrong. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything differently to you...? But I do always call up the club to say I'm coming along and sort a table or an area...I don't think you can go out in the West End and bawk at costly drinks either really! Socially, on a weekend, I've equally enjoyed it but am more inclined to avoid the West End on a Friday or Saturday these days!

I went to Chinawhite with my girlfriend on Tuesday night and I am very disappointed with the way we've been treated by the staff. The security is very very rude and the management is hopeless. Me and a friend of mine decided to go to Chinawhite on Mondays while we were on a journey in London. We heard a lot of things about that club. Although the bouncer was rude actually asking us what we are doing here we got in fast by paying £20 each. But be sure that you are on the guest list.

The club is really nice but it's expensive and full of posers and rich old businessmen with at least 2 to 3 young arrogant women. Since we were only 20 years old a lot of these guys were looking at us probably thinking ''what the hell do they doing here?'' although we were dressed smart and there were at least 10 poser kids especially young rich wannabe girls there. Sometimes a strange atmosphere.

Drinks cost at least £9 and champagne can go as high as £650 for a 3 litre Champagne Magnum. Please make sure that you give the waitress at least £3 tip each time you order a simple drink otherwise they will be rude the next time you order something.

Don't go there if you are not rich or at least pretend to be rich. Even with all these negative things it was still a nice night though!

When I got to the door for ChinaWhite, the bouncer asked me what guestlist I was on. I explained to him that I was on the VIP guestlist. He rudely replied with 'Oh, I am so impressed' in the most sarcastic tone. He obviously has no idea about how to talk to a lady.

After getting in for free (who would pay the outrageous £20?) I was utterly disappointed with this over-hyped club. I wouldn't even mind if it was full of Z-list celebs. But handling a bunch of chavs with their fake Louis Vuitton's trying to elbow me on the dancefloor or push me to get to the mirror is far too much. We left after about an hour.

Don't go here if you have any class. There are plenty more sophisticated places in London.

Wednesdays at Chinawhite are the best! I love the decor and I will go back there again this Wednesday.

Awful. Chinawhite door staff are pleasant and friendly, but the club is filled to the brim with page 3 models who never made it; tourists who heard about this place from other tourists; and old men. Chinawhite's got a few 'big spenders' who are actually not spending much at all and should just go home.

Music is awful, decoration is garish and tacky. Very cringey place to spend your evening, if your in the area, go to Mo*vida.

Chinawhite charges normal Mayfair club prices - I'd definitely advise hitting a nearby pub first.

Thursday night: the doorman was fine - let us in for free (one guy and one girl) even though it was midnight - pretty friendly for a Mayfair doorman. Bartenders were pleasant and efficient despite it being packed, and even though I'm a guy I managed to get their attention, which is quite something!

There's a nice little seating area outside to chill out - there's nowhere inside to sit really apart from this funny little bed thing. The dancefloor is makeshift, in the centre of the room, and everyone groups onto it, but it remains uncrowded. I'd definitely visit Chinawhite again.

The door staff at Chinawhite are lovely, always happy and chatty. I never have seen them randomly turn people away like the ones on the door at Cafe de Paris. They also pay attention to the outside queue and are more than happy to help get a proper cab for the girls. There are lots of D list celebs to avoid here, but the crowd is very attractive and fashionable. Drinks are the usual London price.

Only one problem with Chinawhite is that, depending on where your table is, you do get a lot of randomers sitting down and making themselves comfortable. Also people keep putting their coats on the sofas - grr!

I went to Chinawhite this weekend to celebrate my birthday and I had a brilliant night. The door men were very friendly and quite flirtatious as well but it was all fun. Entry was £20.00 which we had expected but I didn't expect the drinks to be that expensive!

The decor was lovely and the music was brilliant. The atmosphere and music got better at about 12. All the security and bar staff were really friendly. Truthfully Chinawhite is overhyped but I still had an amazing night. I will definitely be going back!

I organised a girls night out pre New Years Eve and couldn't decide on a venue seeing as I'm pretty rusty on the new clubbing scene! Then Chinawhite suddenly appealed to me, and luckily it didn't disappoint. As I had remembered from a few years ago, the crowd was really friendly, the atmostphere electric, not forgetting the company I had for the evening. The music, although an eclectic mix, was fun to boogie the night away to.

I would however highly recommend drinks before getting into Chinawhite. Two doubles cost me just under £20.00 and the bar men just make the prices up as they go along! My friend bought exactly the same two drinks from the main bar and was charged £23.50! Regardless, we had a fantastic night to remember.

The door policy is way too strict for a club past its prime, but Chinawhite is still a good night. They hold student nights now which is very random! Why would they have student nights in Chinawhite? Few are going to pay £8.00 for a mixer when you can go to a student pub and get it for £3.00.

I guess the allure of getting in easily draws big crowds on these nights, but normal nights are way better! Are they becoming desperate?

I am a regular at Chinawhite and thought it was about time I spread the wonderful word. I went with a friend for the black magic Halloween themed night. We were on the guest list and walked right in, and after having a bit of a flirty conversation with one of the door guys we got another free drinks ticket.

Chinawhite is full of people who are fashionable, elegant and wealthy. The young people are well educated, ex public school pupils who enjoy the finer things in life, and the older are very cosmopolitan, successful, charming people. You wil not find any of these chav sorts you hear a lot about.

The only down side to Chinawhite is the fact that the bar staff can be touchy and rude.

I decided to venture to Chinawhite with several friends from abroad about a month or so ago, having heard that it was posh, expensive and difficult to get into. And full of Z-list celebrities. It sounded interesting and perhaps a good place to demonstrate typical London nightlife to my guests. I took the appropriate measure of getting my group on the paying guest list. We arrived at midnight, and there was no queue, no problem getting in, which was strange. £20.00 on the door and not asked if my name was on the list. Again, strange.

The club has nice decor, the drinks are what you'd expect to pay for a posh West End club, but not ridiculous. But what happened to the "classy" and the "dress to impress" tags? Some people were wearing the same as what they would to wash their car - ripped jeans and battered trainers. It completely destroyed the style of the place.

The bar staff are a mixture of friendly and lethargic, but not too much to complain about on that front. The atmosphere was one of drunken wild partying, which was excellent, and the music was very high-energy house and very good. The dance floor is ample, especially compared to other exclusive clubs in London where you find yourself trying to dance in a matchbox.
