It could have been so good. £12 in £21 for 2 drinks and the club is now really tired. There are so many better clubs in London.

I visited on Saturday night with 7 friends for a friend's birthday party. Unfortunately I left feeling completely let down by the d.j's, the appalling music, and the general attitude of staff (aside from the bar staff who were actually very nice) who seemed to use any excuse to try and put a dampener on your night.

My biggest beef with the place was , the mean spirited D.Js and the humourless, 'jobsworth' pool staff.

The place is absolutely filled with tacky sorts of hen's parties from out of town chavvy types. It was my friend's birthday party and when I asked for the second lot of d.js who were playing to make a 'happy birthday' announcement of the mic, they refused with the unthinkable response that they 'don't use the mic' despite the fact that the d.j just on before them had made several announcements of hens parties and birthday parties. Those d.js in question were just mean spirited and up their own ar*ses, never before have I come across a more humourless, mean bunch of people - to not announce somebody's birthday - all of which would have taken them two seconds to do. Also, as soon as these guys were playing, the standard of the music went fastly downhill - turning the soul music into a washed out, vibe-less and unimaginative techno beat, which was bizarre given that the night was advertised as 'soul'.

The guy manning the pool and the lifeguard are the most humourless and mean spirited sort of people (I had to beg to allow my fully clothed friend into the pool area to take a few pics)

I mean c'mon management - your staff represent your club, if you hire mean spirited people who use any excuse to be heavy handed on your clubbers you will soon develop a bad reputation, and people will be reluctant to return. Hire cheerful, generous people and train them to have good customer service skills and you will develop a much better reputation. It's not brain surgery is it?

I wouldn't give it even O star. I was invited to the private party to Club Aquarium, and that is for the first and last time. Everything has started yet from entering the club and ended in there. The door supervisor(security), without even saying anything, started searching me, which seemed normal at first few seconds, but it was unusual, when he took my wallet, Barclays wallet, where I had my credit cards and some cash. This is my property and he cannot look at my credit cards. I have ask him, if he has a rights to check that, and I thus was just a question to the security, ( because, I study law in United Kingdom, and ethical issue is my primary concern.) where another one came and said to me fuck off from here. I have asked him to be polite, this is really not health person, and I was shocked, how can he be in customer service. This how they behave? I know that I can be refused in entering the club, but not in such way. Secondary, he have refused to give me his name and reg number, of sia. Club Aquarium really need to learn how to communicate with the people.

Ok what can i say that isn't already true, let me just put it this way i would rather go to a off licence and rave on the street watching fireworks on NYE 2010 than go here.

This is the worst club I have ever been to in my life! 1st the area around the club is full of scum and you can tell its a dodgy place to be. Went for NYE 2010 and the club obviously sold way too many tickets which was a major issue as you couldn't move inside. The management just wanted money and didn't worry about how the night was. The DJ forgot about the countdown and only counted down from 5 which was a joke.

The worst thing of all was most of the people in the club were young Bengali guys which was disgusting. Just loads of guys thinking their black walking around. If you enjoy a more mature high class club please dont go to this event!

Club Aquarium management you let yourself down and wasted my money. I should have gone to one of the main clubs in central.
