Cocomo is a breath of fresh air, surrounded by stiff city bars. Their cocktails are excellent and affordable, well done. If you're in the area give Cocomo ago!

The doorman was absolutely appalling. I would not recommend this place at all. Firstly, he refused to let my friend and I in. Then he 'jokingly' said that he didn't mean it, and then let us both in. Afterwards, my friend realised that she had dropped her scarf, and he would not let either of us in to look for it, even though we said that we did not want a drink, but merely want to look on the ground for a precious scarf. He was unnecessarily rude and utterly displeasing. We shall not be going back there again. 'Pool' on Curtain Road (104-108) was much nicer, and that is somewhere I would highly recommend.

Pass by Cocomo. They were below standard - the drinks weren't exactly cheap either.

Mmmm Cocomo...tasty name, tasty bar. This is a bar that feels like it's hidden down a secluded alley to be discovered by those in the know. But it's not, it's right on Old Street a few doors down from the mighty 333 and Mother.

This place feels like home - not my home though - you can't sit around in old pants and a vest noshing on nuts. But it's the kind of place you can snuggle into with a lovely lady or some good friends.

The bar staff are friendly and the bar is piled up with some tasty looking cakes and nibbles. Over in the corner there will be a couple of guys arguing over the very small decks.

There're the essential 'ditch features - the old sofas, rough walls, fussball table. But it has the charm of an eccentric foreigner, who tries to fit in, but charmingly fails...
