What a fantastic venue for comedy! The comedians were brilliant, especially the woman headliner from Michael McIntyre's show. It was a friend's birthday so we stayed for the nightclub afterwards and had a ball. Highly recommended.

Apart from the Comedy store this is londons best comedy night. my mates and i go to comedy all the time and Comedy carnival is number one for a full night out. The club afterwards is a proper nightclub, not like Junglers where old old hens dancing to the chicken song!

This is an extremely well-run comedy club with excellent comedians. My boyfriend and I are big fans of comedy and would strongly recommend it.

Absolutely brilliant show. Two of the acts were from TV and they were all hilarious! Superb venue and night club afterwards, which was included with the ticket. Highly recommended!!

Top show in an awesome venue. I haven't laughed that hard in ages. The middle act, John Maloney, had me in tears.

We went on Saturday night for a birthday and it was brilliant. I think it was quieter than normal because it's summer (apparently!) but it was still the best night out we've had in while. The door staff are strict with ID and we saw a young couple who didn't get it in. Shame, because we had a ball! Funny comedians (especially the old jazz guitar guy) and the club afterwards was rocking! There's half price drinks straight after the comedy too.

I have never laughed harder than when I saw Milton Jones at Comedy Carnival. He was amazing – like Tim Vine but weirder! New favourite comedian (and comedy night)!

Cracking night. Great venue and top acts. The headliner was brilliant, Andrew Lawrence, who was on McIntyre's Show this week. I've seen the middle act on TV too. Highly recommended.

I've been to the Comedy Carnival a few times as I live nearby and never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. The comics are always top class so entertainment is guaranteed. I've recently seen the likes of Milton Jones and Micky Flanagan at the venue at a discounted price as I am on their mailing list. Great choice for a fantastic night out!

I recently attended the Comedy Carnival at The Grand to celebrate my birthday. What a fantastic night that was! We went for the Big Party Package with food and complimentary drinks. Great value for money (£25). The food was lovely and fresh, none of that fried stuff I've had at other clubs!!! The entertainment was top class, two of the comedians were well known, TV comics! We laughed so hard! We stayed in the nightclub after the show, they had happy hour until 11pm, which was great! The DJ was fantastic.I will definitely come back and I recommend it to everyone. Thanks Comedy Carnival!

The acts were of a poor standard, over priced and the breaks between each act were way too long. Very disappointed. There are a lot better comedy clubs out there.

I wish I'd seen this review before. A year later and this is the most accurate description of the comedy there. The house also has rules for watching - don't heckle, don't talk, don't use your phone (ok, sensible), don't wear flashing headgear(!). There were only 3 (poor) acts hence the long breaks to string out the night and get you to the bar and one was late so his act was shortened! The acts weren't funny and largely alienated the audience, I would have walked out if the house rules didn't stop me. Average price of a bottle of beer £4. Overall terrible and to be avoided.
