Digress....where can i start.. i went here a week ago for a meet up with lots of uni friends. Started off well, free to get in before a certain time (sat night) and drinks prices were reasonable. Bar staff were cute ... one really hot male! :) Went downstairs to the cloakroom and main dance floor and thats where it started to go wrong! it stunk of incense mixed with sweat!!!!!! i was nearly sick! all my friends refused to stay down there so we spent the rest of the night in the top section crammed and squashed! not sure why it smelt so bad! cloakroom attendants were a bit crap too, and decided to lose my friends scarf!! the only redeeming qualities were the efficient bar staff, decent prices and cheesy but fun music.

I booked an area downstairs for my birthday last week and I have to say I was very happy with my choice. Had a super time. The staff were very good and the music was very commercial which was ideal for me. Had a slight issue with door as they started charging £5 at 10pm and then £10 at 11pm which meant some people choose to stay away which was a shame. Also the platers of food... I was told was enough for 7-8 people... well I dont know, maybe I eat a lot of food but that was barely enough for 1 hungry birthday boy never mind 7 other people.

all in all had a top night. Will definitely recommend.

Just had great night out last friday at Digress... this place has become much better recently. service was quick & friendly... music & DJ was brill, a fun mix of pop, disco, everything really... felt really safe & full of nice people.

We booked a booth after work for friends. drinks were great & cheap for london in happy hour especially the cocktail strawberry clouds. We planned to go home about 9, but ended up leaving at 2am!

Would recommend this gem of a bar without hesitation. One minute we were having after work drink then it was midnight and we were dancing the night away!! See you soon digress!!

one of the worst bars i've ever been to. incresdibly hot (it's winter). the dj must have won the cheesiest dj at the annual dj cheese awards. mostly very bland looking people. the drinks we overexpensive and underalcoholic and taste like they had the cheapest possible ingredients. the staff were incredbily rude. for some strange reason this bar was very popular. they set up a cordon and a queue for people to enter the lower dance floor. only problem was - the loos were on the other side! that mean that if you wanted to piss you had to queue up again to get back onto the dance floor! when i told a member of staff that this system doesn't work very well he told me to 'f*** off'. avoid this hell hole like the plague.

If you're looking for a lively and jumping venue then Digress will disappoint.
Too small, too dark and the crowd were less than sexy! Too many ugly guys chasing too many unattractive ladies. It would be ok for a stopping point for a few drinks on the way to somewhere better, but not a place to end up as your final destination.

I have been to Digress a number of times including holding my birthday there 3 years ago. Unfortunately, last time I went there on a Thursday I was very disappointed.

We were welcomed to come into the bar by a flyer girl along the street but we (3 guys) were left feeling so annoyed at the attitude of the Bouncers. Well dressed, sober and well behaved guys, we were not even told to our faces that the bar wanted a mixed crowd in there. We were then told we weren't going to get in! And there was only 5 people in the upstairs bar.

Okay, a mixed crowd is great but do you just want couples going in, not socialising with other people? Out of principle my friends and I will not recommend or go back to Digress until their attitude changes to a more friendly one.

There's plenty of other bars around Soho that are more welcoming and happening. Come on Digress!

Digress Soho was great last weekend! I had booked an area and it was great to have for the night. The booking process was easy and very useful! I even got all my guests cheap entry as they were on the guestlist and didn't need to queue or pay full price.

I would recommend booking an area or getting on the guest list to anyone as Digress Soho is a really great bar and the drinks are good and so is the DJ. I'm definitely going back. You should try it..

Digress Soho is a really, really bad bar that you should avoid at all costs. Terrible drinks that taste of window cleaner and the most obnoxious, rude staff I have ever met that were giving everyone attitude. Never come to Digress Soho even if you are desperate for a late night drink.

I would give this 3.5 but only integer values are allowed. Digress is a pretty basic fun, economical party night out that will suit most mixed groups. It plays a mix of chart RnB and party tunes to a largely party centric mid-20's crowed. You are very unlikely to get any London attitude here.

It's a popular spot so on a Friday or Saturday you're unlikely to get in as a single or group of guys after 10pm. The bar service is an ongoing problem. I have been three times and the service is always outrageously slow. Seriously, you won't believe it until you experience it. This is partly a feature of lack of staff and partly due to the fact people that go to Digress like to drink a lot. The bar staff are slightly more self satisfied than the average but its manageable.

The price is London typical, 8-10 quid to get in 4 quidish for a beer. Downstairs is where the dance floor is and a number of nice booths, ideal for a birthday.

Overall if you've you like a basic party and aren’t stuck up or loaded this is a fun place with, typically a fun client base.

I went to Digress Soho for the first time last night with a girlfriend. The main idea was to unwind and just generally have a place where we could relax and talk with a couple of drinks, and it was nice to actually be able to do that.

The setting is lovely, the ground floor has a lot more seating area and is a lot more open. Downstairs has more of a dancefloor, but gets too crowded as the evening progresses. The drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were really friendly. I can see why people complained about not getting served straight away, but they're not as slow as one would be lead to think!

The music they play is fun and I was just relieved that even though it was loud, it didn't drown out our voices and we were able to talk comfortably. I have to say I really enjoyed it at Digress, the crowd who go there seemed to be fun and it's definitely a place I'd go back to and maybe plan a party at.

Digress Soho is truly appalling. The average time to get served at the bar was 20 minutes, for all the people at the party. Five minutes is acceptable but that is not and one person was there for half an hour!

The music was rubbish, and it was certainly not commercial dance or funky house as I was told. It is a shame as Digress Sohi is a nice place and the atmosphere was good, however I will be avoiding this place like the plague from now on.

I went to Digress Soho with a large crowd for a friends birthday and we all had a wicked time. The bar staff were friendly enough and the music was varied enough to cater for most tastes.

There's plenty of seating on the ground floor, though if you are going in a large crowd I would recommend reserving an area. I'd recommend Digress Soho to anyone who looking for a bit of everything, a drink, a meal and a boogie!

I went to Digress Soho a few weeks ago and had a fantastic time. It's not huge so you won't lose your mates and the drinks are not as pricey as most other good London venues. The music at Digress Soho is great, the atmosphere is vibrant and the staff are extremely friendly.

My friends and I went to Digress Soho last night and we were all really impressed with the place. All the staff were really friendly and boy do they make a mean Cosmopolitan.

The DJ plays the usual commercial dance tunes and there is actually room to dance. I would recommend Digress Soho to anyone on any occasion. Something for everyone and not too expensive either.

Digress Soho is a truely unbelievable venue! In fact it's possibly the eighth wonder of the world - let me explain...

Firstly, it's utterly impossible to understand why you can still be standing at the bar waiting to be served after 10 minutes, when there are as many staff behind the bar as customers waiting! But it doesn't end there!

It doesn't matter where you are when you finally get served or what you ask for, because whatever you want will strangely be located at the opposite end of the bar! So as they wander off, you're left wondering where on earth they've gone.

THIRSTY? You will be at Digress Soho...

I went to Digress Soho on Friday night last week and it's a great little club. There's a nice multi-cultured atmosphere at Digress Soho and reasonable music (although it was a bit cheesy for my liking). They do some great cocktails upstairs with friendly bar staff. It's only a fiver to get in too.

I went to Digress yesterday despite the varying reviews on the Viewlondon website. The venue itself was really nice nad the bouncers were really polite and courteous. The barmen were also really dishy.

Even though it was a Tuesday the music was really good and the vibe was really mellow. The actual set up of the club (comfy sofas, booths) was also really good and reflected the whole Moroccan theme. I would recommend Digress for a first date or for a girly night out because there are booths downstairs for some serious 1 to 1 but there is also a dancefloor downstairs for some serious Timberlake moves.

Despite the profesional review, I would definately recommend this bar as a cool place to be on an early-finish Friday afternoon. The cocktails are generous, and at half price between 5 and 7pm; a great way to start the weekend!

Also during happy hour you can get hold of any bottle of wine for £8! Thats about 12 or 13 quid off the top bottle! Well worth a visit. I go every time I'm in London...which is pretty often!
