Dead.... no food??? These guys had some of the best Mexican food in London. When I asked what happened they were rude and unhelpful. The place was dying... left for the next bar around the corner to spend my money. On the way back a couple of hours later... guess what??? Still dead!!! Good Luck

I live in Brixton and Dogstar is my local boozer. Its just started doing live music upstairs on Friday nights which is awesome. The staff are always friendly and Hot too!!!!!!!They have dj's every night and great roast dinners and Jazz on Sunday. So if you have not been there in awhile I would highly recommend it. Rock on at the Dog

I went to Dogstar recently and had a fantastic time. The music was amazing and the bar staff friendly and attentive which was no mean feat as it was rammed. I would definitely recommend Dogstar for anyone who fancies a lively and spirited night out.

I went to one of the best nights I've been to recently at Dogstar. Massive Attack's Daddy G, Hard-Fi, Vicarious Bliss, all in a wicked soundclash of electro, dub reggae, hiphop and indie. Dogstar is open on three floors and the top room rocked. And there were live bands on as well.

Thank god this has landed in Brixton. The people behind this night aren't what you'd expect from South London and is more Shoreditch five years ago than anything else. It is cutting edge, quirky with no sound of cheese or 70s and 80s that the other bars still play down this way.

With Jamm and Plan B, you can finally stay South all night and still feel credible! I hope Dogstar can keep it up. One criticism - the lines to get in were a little outrageous. Sort that out, please.

I've just come back from the Dogstar where my boyfriend and I have had one of the best nights in a London club. It has changed almost beyond recognition and the DJs are all international and play the widest range of music in London, and they happily play requests.

Dogstar was packed like it usually is, so perhaps you were at the wrong place? The Dogstar is one of the best little bar and clubs in London and is really trying hard to please. Come and see for yourself!

I went to the Dogstar not long ago and it seems to have really gone downhill in a very big way. My boyfriend and I were there from 9 til about half twelve on a Friday, as we hoped it would get better as the night went on.

We have vouched never to go back to Dogstar again. The music was wrong which meant that place was practically empty the whole time and the dancefloor lifeless. Sort it out, Dogstar.

We are local chicks and love Dogstar. Bar staff are wicked, music is good usually, lately too much techno shit but people are great and it just feels like Camden, Angel and Brixton all together! Just for a dj - play more chilled music coz is goin down, that's why 4 not 5 stars.
