Went to Dorsia a few weeks ago , took my Parents for Dinner in the Restaurant which is on the first floor in a very decadent room overlooking the Museum , The food was very good , I've dined at some of the finest Michelin starred restaurants in London and it was definitely on par with them. The service was Friendly, Unfussy and seamless . The wine list was good and quite good value had an excellent bottle of Bobal (think it was about 40 Pounds). The Old fashioned Cocktails after dinner were a good alternative to the usual digestives .
After dinner my folks left and i joined some friends in the bar which was getting really busy but the service was good and the Staff Friendly and they made me a pomegranite & chilli margerita. we headed down to the club which was unlike the restaurant and bar , all leather padded walls and mirrors ,music was nt bad , we had a bottle or two of vodka , the atmosphere was good it did nt seem to have the attitude which i find at some other clubs everyone seemed quite social.
Im trying to think of anything i did nt like about dorsia maybe the narrow stairs to the club .
Now i don t normally do reviews but i was looking for the number for dorsia and thought why not !!.
Just giving my well-deserved 5 stars following my comment below!
Amazing, decadent venue with great music, good crowd and food worth talking about! The service and staff were impeccable and left an all round good impression with our group.
Btw, you can’t compare Dorsia with Boujis – it’s like comparing apples and oranges. They are two completely different venues!
I can't put my finger on it but it just doesn't work. Its all a bit cheap- when you compare to to the likes of Boujis etc. I would bet that it won't be open come next summer.
Finally got the chance to go to dorsia after all of my friends raving about the new place to be on Saturdays. Was so refreshing to see a club in London that's been done a bit differently. Great crowd, reasonable prices and decent music. Well done to all involved. Only one complaint was that the upstairs bar was a bit packed at the start of the night.
Dorsia is the most original and refreshing venue to hit London. With the restaurant, bar and club on all different floors it is an experiential environment going from one to the next. You can start and end your night there! The old fashion wall trimmings to the andy warhol like art is a great mix of classic sophistication and current decor! This is the place to be, forget maddox, movida, whiskey mist, they are all the same, this is different and new!
Worst club I have ever been to. There was hardly anyone inside and it was a FRIDAY night at 1.00am! There is obviously not enough money around for this nightclub to be a success. The sooner it closes the better. I feel extremely embarrassed for the management.
Dorsia provided us with one of the best nights Ive had out in a long time. We had a fantastic table in the best location just off the dancefloor with very friendly staff serving us all night. The decor is perfect and everyone in there just has a good time. DJ was fantastic too!!
Went to Dorsia on Saturday and it was a bit of a sham very badly ran, with the staff having no clue of what was going on! There was very bright lighting and the music really loud i couldn't actually hear what it was. Would not recommend it! I miss chloe and firehouse which used to be there!!!
Visited on Friday night, my friends and I had a great night. There was some confusion on the door on our arrival but barring that it was a very pretty site and worth a visit. Certainly not as bad as the two reviews below!
Appalling venue, I couldn't agree more with the comment below. Absolute sham and will not be returning after my coat being on the floor and ripped as well as waiting for drinks for 20 mins when it wasn't even busy. Poor venue and even worse the staff! What a waste of an evening!
What an awful awful club. Management are completely incapable idiots. The door girl thought she was amazing (but definitely was not) bit of an ice queen who gave a lot of attitude. Once in the staff were all over the place, there was even an ironing board in the hall way area, water on the floor and waiting staff dropping glasses everywhere. The club even closed and re-opened at about midnight. Upon getting our coat we waited an hour with guests climbing into the cloak room to get their own coats because the cloak room were to be perfectly honest stupid! After getting to the front amongst fights, screaming etc we found that one of our coats were lost and had to wait another 20 mins until they told us to go in and find it ourselves. Another of my guests found her laptop bag on the floor which had been trod on. Basically it was a joke! I will not re attending and would advice anyone to never step foot unless you would like to have your belongings lost or to be greeted with an ironing board and rude people! I will be sticking to Boujis or Roof gardens! Worst club i have EVER attended.
Went to Dorsia last weekend for dinner and have to say it was superb. The food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and professional. They have done a great job on the decor and the floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the Cromwell Road and the Natural History Museum added to the ambience. I would definitely recommend.
Attended a friends birthday there last weekend, a lot of fun from what I remember...Beautiful building and some very attractive people in attendance. My only complaint was it was quite hard to find.
What a dissapointment!? Will certainly not be returning
The club is an absolute bodge job. I was expecting much more- but the lighting and sound system were awful downstairs- to the point you couldn't see the person sitting next to you and your ears burst, it almost seemed tacky; the cliental average at best.
