Eastatic at El Barco Latino offers an exotic night out on a moored boat in the heart of London.

The Venue
Unfortunately positioned next to a bigger and flashier boat, El Barco Latino is impossible to find from The Embankment unless you lean over the edge far enough to warrant being talked down by the Samaritans. That said, its diminutive size does make the deck, which is at water level, very pleasant to sit on and the underwater bar is clean and well designed.

The Atmosphere
Eastatic at El Barco Latino attracts a very friendly, but reserved crowd of mainly Asian professionals. A club night that focuses on socialising rather than partying, Eastatic is not really the place to let your hair down, but it is enjoyable nonetheless and a great way to ease yourself into the weekend.

The Drinks
A fairly well stocked bar serves wine, beer and Latin style cocktails. Treat yourself to an aperitif and watch the sunset from the deck.

The Music
Advertising itself as the only night to fuse bhangra and Eastern underground, the music is fun to dance to, but won't be to everyone’s taste. Live performances on the Tabla make the experience memorable, and a bellydancer adds glamour.

The Last Word
Eastatic at El Barco Latino is a great night out, with a small but friendly crowd, and makes a refreshing change from some of the more run of the mill Central London club nights.
