The latest strip club to hit The City aims to provide bankers with a night of attractive women, Champagne, and all-around entertainment. For Your Eyes Only may not quite live up to some of its Central London rivals - Spearmint Rhino and Stringfellows, for example – although it does provide the area with a convenient and decent lap dancing venue.

The Venue
The decor of For Your Eyes Only is typical strip club glamour. Attractive lighting enables the girls to be viewed most favourably and the overall look of the place is slightly try-hard. However, it’s a look that will appeal to the City boys out to spend big bucks on entertaining clients or self-indulged stress relief from their hectic week.

The most striking feature of this club is its sheer size. There’s a huge open seating area with numerous tables and booths, a main stage and second stage equipped with adjacent bar, and an extraordinarily high number of private dancing booths for such an establishment (48 in total). There’s plenty of space to enjoy the night and not feel crammed in, unlike some of its nearby rivals. There is additional space in the 25 Champagne Loungers and VIP suites for those wanting to shell out and lavish the girls with bubbly - but this isn’t really an option unless you have an expense account the size of Gibraltar. They are also readying a restaurant area to cater for any ravenous clientele. This promises to be high-end cuisine. The action centres around the stage adjacent to the bar, where two girls dance in tandem motion, or the centre where the main pole dancing takes place - acrobatics that will make your eyes water!

The Atmosphere
The atmosphere here is almost wholly dependent on the girls who are present on the night. Numerous girls commute here at times, from Essex, Kent and even Bournemouth as they hope to lighten the pockets of the Saville Row suited, city gents.

Like other strip clubs, there is a mix of nationalities represented, a number of whom are English. Other countries represented include Russia, Australia, Poland and Czechoslovakia. As per most strip clubs there’s the usual mix of girls out to just get their hands on your money, and those willing to put the time in to have a chat and warm you up. Upon entering, don’t be surprised to feel a little bombarded as you approach the bar where the girls tend to congregate, some being overly eager to get you to accept a £20 dance. Nearly all respond kindly to a polite decline and this will provide you with the opportunity to keep your eyes peeled for your perfect prize.

Most girls range from mildly attractive to hot - most with good firm bodies to fit different tastes. From the slim girls with fake breasts to the voluptuous with natural curves, you’ll no doubt find someone to appeal. Varying in prettiness they’re good dancers across the board so it’s up to you what you find attractive and where you want to splash the cash!

The Music
For Your Eyes Only isn’t a standard club, so you won’t see anyone other than the girls dancing. The DJ spins tunes engineered to compliment the girls improvised routines - so expect contemporary chart hits and sexy RnB grooves. Nothing that breaks the mould, but then you don’t come to a strip club for cutting edge sounds.

The Drink
Drinks are expensive, but nothing compared to some of its rivals. A bottle of beer is under a fiver, (compare this to Secrets where you are looking at closer to £7!) with more expensive options centering around the decent Champagne selection. Of course you get what you pay for, and if you’re out to impress clients or the girls, forking out several hundred pounds on quality Champagne like Cristal is a mere formality.

The Last Word
For Your Eyes Only is a decent addition to the City club scene. The majority of bankers, stock brokers will no doubt be extremely contented, with the venue being near Moorgate, and not too far from Bank or Liverpool St - that obviously being their main target audience. If you work in the area and want to go somewhere a little more upmarket than the city rivals then you could definitely do a lot worse than here.
