Expect a host of socialites, models and celebrities partying at this trendy nighttime hotspot. Led by its sophisticated furnishings and upbeat music, funkybuddha successfully merges East with West.

The Venue
Located in the Victorian elegance of Berkley Square, just around the corner from the Ritz Hotel, the multi-million pound refurbishment of funkybuddha has certainly fit the cause. You can expect a contemporary, trendy, open-plan nightclub with neon blue and red zigzag lights set around central square-shaped bar and seating areas. From the street is a discreet doorway where you'll spy the head of the signature Buddha.

Down the spiral staircase to the right is the chill out room, themed with hostile white leather sofas and a bar. To the left is the main bar and dancefloor featuring an abstract Buddha fountain. Seating is usually reserved for VIPs and covers all the crinks and cranks of this spacious club, offering ample visibility for talent spotting.

The Atmosphere
funkybuddha is a guestlist only club so expect plenty of good looking socialites in their Prada suits, Gucci dresses and Jimmy Choo heels supping Champagne and bellinis. The contemporary decor and unusual Buddha fountain give this club a sense of a trendy and futurisitc Eastern Orient club. The bar staff are charming and model-like and more than happy to mix the ultimate cocktail and show off their glass catching and shake techniques. Don’t be surprised to find peer clubbers staring you up and down - its part of the seal of approval.

The Music
The music at funkybuddha is varied but predominantly ruled by funky house and electro sounds with a taste of soul and RnB. The DJs tend to play a lot of Hed Kandi and Groove Armada. They come from all over the world to mix some super dance tunes at this prestigious venue throughout the week.

The Drink
There are a wide selection of spirit based cocktails, bellinis and martinis; servings are made up freestyle so a wink at the bar staff and some friendly banter should ensure you get a generous serving. VIPs tend to order spirits by the bottle and drink the night away - this is, however, a very expensive option.

The Last Word
Put your best frock and high heels on; at funkybuddha you’ll strut sexy dance moves, flirt and drink lavish cocktails into the early hours.
