I am not, never have been, and now never will be, a customer of Heaven nightclub. Despite this, my friend's and I were treated to a real eye opener of a display of what it must be like to be a Heaven customer.
Following a night out in central London, my group were saying our goodbyes to one another on Villiers Street when a member of Heaven nightclub approached us to say we needed to move on due to noise levels. Given that we were already in the process of moving on, (as evidenced by the hugging, cheek kissing, and waving) we felt this was a little odd. But what really got our backs up was the way in which we were asked to leave the area; a public right of way that, the last time I checked, doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of some jumped up little man in a yellow tabard.
Apparently, the words "excuse me", "please", and "thank you" don't form part of the vocabulary of door staff at Heaven. The words that do, I can't write on this site. He also didn’t seem too bothered about his own contribution to “noise levels”.
His manner and tone was so aggressive and disproportionate to the situation, that I felt compelled to write a letter of complaint to the club's manager; the first time I think I’ve ever complained about somewhere I’ve never been! I've yet to hear back.
If this disgusting excuse for door staff is representative of the club as a whole, I have no intention of ever frequenting this place!
Hit and miss if you will get in (let girls in but turn away gay guys, ridiculous), door staff are appalling. Avoid
Completely disappointed.
Wanted to take my gay cousin there for her birthday as a surprise.
We were going in fancy dress as sailors. The manager told us that not only did they do a guestlist for a birthday party but if we turned up in fancy dress we might not get in.
Bear in mind this was Porn Idol night, where men get naked in front of a judging panel. But six women dressed in tasteful sailor costumes weren't welcome.
Disgusting! Pretentious! Don’t bother going
ok club - long queues to get in, drinks dear but crowd are fun and up to party. i go maybe once a month and its fun.
One of the best club I've ever been too! with exceptions to the door staff who can be very rude and pretentious. When you enter the club, you actually don't realize how big it is until you wonder round to mingle and realize there 5 rooms and they've recently added a balcony.. Which is a must for celebrity spotting especially on Saturday nights, as nearly every/ other week they host a performance, whether it be Brittany spear, X factor (Contestants), Blue, Jessie J, etc..... the list is absolutely endless.
Best thing about heaven, is its a safe environment to party. I have needed help from the medic, four times in the last 2 years (all self inflicted accidents) and the two medics "cutez (a very hot black guy) and Dawn ( skinny female with blonde hair )" have been extremely welcoming, very professional and you can tell that they are health-care professionals as every time Ive been in, they have always been spot on in diagnosis.
The only downer is.... the ventilation. As heaven is underground it gets extremely hot in there some nights, even with air con on full blast, so you have to think wisely about clothing to wear, but on the up side... you get to see allot of skin, from not only hot and gorgeous men, but also women

Have been a couple of times with some friends, but have never been surprised. It doesn't offer any added value whatsoever.
Even the VIP lounge is kitschy and chav like.
Anyways, if you get together a nice group of friends and come with no pretension whatsoever, you will have a laugh, because the club is massive and I'm sure you'll find something you'll like music-wise.
Do AVOID Monday nights as the management goes completely different and the main crowd is straight. Me and my lesbian friend have stopped going there, because, although the music is better, she keeps getting harassed by drunk straight men. Plus, if you go there on a gay night, you get your hand stamped and you can even get your pints outside if you wanna have a fag. But on a Monday night, you pay £1 for a wristband and you can't even bring a bottle of water outside, which I think is disgusting on a supposedly gay club, while hosting a straight night.
