The Leinster Room Restaurant was excellent. Calm, superb dining room, attentive but unobtrusive service, excellent bread and the best Irish stew I have ever eaten. The prices are very reasonable, this is an undiscovered gem.

Although not members we booked dinner at the Irish Club and as it was a monday evening it maybe wasn't surprising that we were the only diners there. Although this may have have detracted from the atmosphere we were made to feel very welcome, first having a drink in the Jameson Bar before moving through to the Leinster restaurant.

The starters, although not large portions were very tasty accompanied by fresh bread as required so we weren't left feeling hungry. Three of us had the Irish stew for mains and although maybe not how "Granny made it" was delicious and heartwarming.

The wine was excellent and sensibly priced, although limited to French.

Not surprisingly the Irish coffee was piping hot and excellent

We will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates high quality food at reasonable prices

I have heard from a few friends that are memebers the food is good here. I am quite tempted to get in there!
