I screwed up that last post - Jamboree deserves 17 stars, not 3.
Sorry for hitting the wrong button!

This place is a little gem. Sometimes its like stepping back in time, to Berlin or Paris in the 1940s... sometimes it's a rollicking night out, or somewhere to read the paper with a drink in comfortable, non-judging company, and other times it's like the best party you've ever been invited to, and you feel very special and privileged. Some nights London's best buskers and musicians jam until late, the beer and wine is cheap, and there's a real sense of warmth and fun. Dancing optional, but always unselfconscious. A thing of beauty, full of smiles...

Please. moderator, would you remove this post and the other one I posted afterwards to try to sort it out? Then I'll post it again properly and give the Jamboree the 5 stars it deserves - my mistake is bringing down the average, which is unfair.

Found this amazing little gem last weekend, made us feel like we were in Berlin or a Cuban rumshack...came down for a friends degree show fundraiser and stayed all night, drank cheap and tasty drinks with locals and art school kids, heard 2 excellent bands and dj's, left happy and drunk. WIll be back for sure.
