The ViewLondon Review
Gentlemans clubs are called that for a reason - men go there to see naked women dance, but are they just for gentlemen? LA Confidential may just offer something for everyone. The VenueLA Confidential is your slightly more out of town lap dancing club. Situated in Ealing Broadway, it’s reminiscent of a jazz lounge bar with low slung leather arm chairs, subdued lighting and central stages bathed in red light, where the dancers take turns on the pole.
The AtmosphereThe success of a lap dancing club ultimately depends on the quality of girls that they have, and in LA Confidential it’s a mixed bag. The dancers vary greatly in their looks and dancing ability and while some perform amazing moves on the pole, others seem to think its sufficient to just wiggle around ‘seductively’. But what you do get from this club is a sense of realism; these are real women, not artificial silicone dolls. Also, punters are kept happy - whilst other lap dancing venues in London put their prices up for private dances, LA confidential has kept their prices refreshingly reasonable.
The MusicThe music here is a mixed bag, largely depending on the dancer’s preference. But you can guarantee that it will be popular music and nothing too offensive.
The DrinkLA Confidential is good value for money, and their drinks list only goes further to support this notion. With reasonably priced beers and wine you could head out for a good night with 50 quid in your pocket, have a couple of dances, a few drinks and still have change left for the taxi home.
The Last WordLA Confidential is good fun - the dancers are friendly and respectful, and the club is excellent value for money.
