Arrogant. Sexy. Woolly. And more than a little mad. She's Lambchop Magoo, and she's going to bend your mind with exceptional burlesque, comedy, music and more at Proud Cabaret.

The city's cuddliest burlesque egomaniac hosts her favorite performers every Wednesday night beginning March 24th in (what else?) The Lambchop Magoo Show.

Expect avant-garde hilarity and scintillating tease for a more discerning audience. Do not expect ovine puns. Her grand opening includes performances from husky voiced chanteuse Lady Carol direct from her run at the Sydney Opera House, steampunk burlesque from Beau Burlington, surrealist dance from Jonny the Clown, and character stand up from rising star Jo Selby.

Lambchop Magoo is the cabaret alter ego of performance artist Hannah Ballou. She blends clown, burlesque, and even commedia dell'arte to create a persona like no other.

She is Betty Page meets Il Dottore. She stole the show at the London Burlesque Festival 2009, and won third prize in the Whoopee Club's Tournament of Tease 2008. You may have glimpsed her on BBC2’s The Culture Show, or in the documentary Bump & Grind: The Story of Burlesque. She has featured at London's Volupte Lounge, Bethnal Green Workingmen's Club, Whoopee Club, Duckie, Madame Jojo’s, Arts Theatre Leicester Square, at the Slipper Club in New York, Wasserwerks in Berlin, Kinky & Quirky’s in Exeter, and many more.
