What a joke of a scheisse-hole. A coked-up greasy bouncer with an ego that vastly surpasses his authority, a lousy interior and poor mixology...why would anyone spend 0.00005 minutes trying to enter much less pay £20 to descend into this cesspool of London's sewers?

The days of l'Equipe's glamour, hotness, and sex are over. Long, LONG gone. It's a sad relic of a bygone era, and the sooner it's closed, the better.

Oh my God, what a shocking place! I went to L'Equipe Anglaise with friends to end our New Years Eve celebrations thinking that at 3am, it would still be lively and fun. How disappointed I was. I actually counted the number of people in there! How sad! It would be better not to open. It was even more striking as we had started the evening at Home House, which is a cracking venue on Portman Square with very reasonable prices and great staff.


The worst thing is that the idiots managing L'Equipe Anglaise still ask for £20.00 at the door! Setting foot in the place pretty much ruined my party mood and we left pretty swiftly.

Well, the first step into the cauldron of awkward fashion is cold, dark, distant but refreshingly sexy...L'Equipe Anglaise. If you're attractive and have money or have a friend with money this is the place for you.

On the flip side, at L'Equipe Anglaise you can get away with fannying about on the dance floor for the entire night. To sum up, would you rather eat snails or frog legs?

I know the softer side of L'Equipe. Once you're a regular there's no place better you get treated like royalty; the staff are fantastic. As for the DJs, one in particular is a god, JC has not only got the looks and personality but the ability to get anyone on the dance floor shame Sam isn't there any more too - they were a great duo!
