I went to this club WITH A TABLE BOOKING. As we were queuing the bouncer went to me 'stand on the other side and then ill talk to u'. what kind of a place is that when I'm going to be spending so much money and bringing people to spend!! Then they apparently didnt have our booking! I have never been so disgusted at such a club. Don't bother going there!!!!!!!!I thought, let's try something new! It's one place i'll tell everyone to avoid!

Members Club :-) All together was ok. Only thing that doorman at the entrance said to me that we have to pay him 30 £ per person (normally 20 £) but it was not possible to chat with him as I could not understand anything he said. Swedish guy was again at my table smiling and asking is everything is ok every 15 minutes. Guys !!! I don't know if any one from the management is readding that - Please don't treat people like that.
Any way club is ok, but will never go again becouse of that idiot at the door.

Been there several times. Maybe it's because i was well surrounded but i had a good time there.
Each time there were diffent crowd of ppl though. If i remeber well, i saw few transexuals, homosexuals wearing only underwears, rich kids, some indie style young crowd, ex-models, and some decent looking ppl. Music is quite good but nothing amazing.
I quite like the simple trendy decor.
Bouncers are nice.
Staffs are very nice.
Not too superfical, neither too trashy.
However no personality...

Overated and never that busy.
The doorman who used to be at Movida is unneccessarily chippy and clearly forgets that he is paid to stand outside in the cold all night.
Dont waste your time.

Really Friendly staff!!!! I must say..evem the bouncers are very strict but not bigheaded at all as far as i saw last night!! Everyone is treated with the same respect and the cloak girls were fantastic and didnt charge per item, which is ridiculous in most clubs especially when you have to dress up warm now! Only minus i would say is its trying too hard to copy all the other clubs like crystal and 24london and so on...I would like something a bit different and unique...im so bored hearing the same songs..same everything all the time!

MAYA continues to disappoint, it claims to have a strict door policy, but trash always finds a way in and ruins the atmosphere.

Hi all,

Maya is unbelievable. I absolutly love it!! With its strict door policy and its sensational atmosphere rocking the club with the best of funky house Maya ensures that every night is as exclusive as the last!

Thursday nights at the moment are the hottest with a celeb there every time I’ve been!

Hand on heart I would say thursdays at maya have been the some of the best nights out and i’ve been out to most clubs in london!!!

A night not to miss out on. Go along and judge for yourself.

Hope to catch my fellow viewlondon buddies at Maya Thursdays!

I went to Maya the second Saturday after it opened. I was surprised that such a new club got everything quite so right.

There was nobody unfriendly on the door, and the staff inside were nice and helpful.

The music was really good, their DJ Enzo knew what he was doing, with a good selection of tracks and a good knack for mixing them properly. It was mainly house with some RnB thrown in.

The drinks were expensive, but of course they were, if you're not expecting that when you walk in, you probably shouldnt be there.

The atmosphere was great and I found there were people in there from all over the world. The MAYA people are strict at the door, but if you turn up drunk off your face can you blame them for saying no? Just dress well, and be polite, and you get the same back really.

Mo*Vida and Studio Valbonne should watch out, because its clear Maya means business!
