I went there on a Saturday night I had no complaints except the front courtyard of The Mayfair strip club is crowded with black men 'pimps' soliciting me as if i wanted a prostitute. I of course declined and reported them to the Metro police and advise anyone else that encounter them to do the same.

Seriously??? Personally i disagree with the majority of these negative reviews! Yes i have witnessed individuals being refused entry by the door staff more often than not the reason they are turned away is due to the customer (individual or group) causing a scene, usually as a result of too much alcohol/testosterone and too little self control/decorum! This is by far one of the best late night venues you will ever come across, the staff are fun and friendly yet professional and know how to create the perfect ambiance which results in a chilled and uncompromising setting allowing even the most high profile clientele to kick back and enjoy the moment! Great tunes, funky yet cosy decor, fantastic friendly service, which creates a backdrop for some of the most stunning females i have ever come across in my time! These girls are nothing short of beautiful refined intelligent, vibrant, sexy and sassy yet strangely cute (and not a bob job or a gold-digger in sight)! These are table dancers with a twist and i am well travelled so i say this from experience nowhere competes with what you get here! This is by far one of the most discerning yet non judgemental, friendly, fun and relaxed venues! AND I THINK I MAY EVEN MARRY A CERTAIN LITTLE LADY WHO CAUGHT MY ATTENTION IN THIS PLACE AND HAS TOTALLY KEPT IT SINCE...I THINK YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE "H" :)

Friday night. Do not go there unless you like RnB and hip hop music. I don't, so for me it was absolutely terrible. Not a problem to get in, not an exclusive club. The decor is ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Didn't like the crowd, it was very mixed, but compared to other clubs in London I go to, not that many attractive people. Or maybe it was just that night. Most of the girls there are ridiculously trashy and slutty. Seriously, I went into the bathroom, and there was one girl puking. Then another one. No class at all, not even a hint of it. Guys, also nothing great. But then again, I have really high standards for people's behavior, even in clubs. I am a strong advocate of class, and a girl doesn't need to have her ass hanging out when she goes to a club so that guys will pay attention to her. Unless she has no self confidence or self-respect. As I said horrible music, bad crowd, overall a waste of time for me. Never will go there again, will just stick to the more pretentious places I am used to. Maybe that sounds shallow, but that's just my priority. If you think like me then don't go to Mayfair Club. But, once again, everyone has different tastes.

I really don't understand why all the reviews of this club are bad. I went here on Friday night and had a fantastic time! I went with a large group of people and we had NO problems getting in. Free entry for girls like most Mayfair clubs, £20 for guys. We had a private table with a huge seating area, it was very luxurious! The staff were more then friendly, we recieved free vodka all night long. The club itself is tiny but that doesn't mean you won't have a good time. The music was amazing funky house/bashment/dance. I must say there were ALOT of black people there which is very unusal for a high-end Mayfair club. So was a nice surprise. It's also a celebrity hotspot, Lenox Lewis and Cee-lo Green were present when I went there. I would definately recommend this club to everyone. :)

As a dancer myself I do not blame you for going to Spearmint. I am a successful model (I have been on the cover of many magazines inc FHM and ZOO) and professional dancer and have been working as a lap-dancer for 5years, after confirming an audition that day and travelling for over an hour from outside London I was greeted by the rudest doormen in existence and a receptionist (I presume) came rushing out to tell me they were not doing auditions as they had too many girls and that perhaps I could try next week-Ithink not!! Without any apology they then all turned their backs to me.

Absolute amateurs!!

Rude staff!!

A club that clearly doesn't know quality girls.

GIRLS DON'T GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR TIME!!

As an employee of The Mayfair Club I can only apologise and hope you give us another chance - we aim to please all customers but may not succeed 100% of the time...

Regarding the dancer who arrived for audition only to give us a negative review, apologies however we instruct our door team to turn away any girls we know won't make the grade at our club at the door to save our time and yours - if Spearmint Rhino took you on I wish you and them the best of luck.

I went to the club on a Saturday night with a group of friends. £20 entry fee is fairly standard in London but (as all other reviews have expressed) the drinks prices were disgraceful. I work in the city and am used to paying a lot for a drink, but a bottle of Becks for £6, a single vodka and coke for £9.50 and bottle of house wine costing £40 is just rediculous considering the standard of the club.

The bouncers were fairly friendly to us so no complaints there. However the bar staff were very rude and service was poor at best. The club itself was dirty, the carpet on the dance floor was really sticky which made it hard to dance. Music wasn't to my taste but beside that the dj did a classic school disco/student night technique of stopping the music in the key parts of songs so you can only hear singing. Not a good style of mixing.

The people in there may have a lot of money, but no class at all. There were a lot of wannabes and some girls in the toilets who were screeching about something and being quite agressive to the toilet attendant. There were also a lot of very sleazy men who kept either grabbing or in other ways trying to touch me and my friend. Not enjoyable.

I would definitely not go back to this club, no would I recommend it. The management obviously are tapping into the London market of attracting the lower class of people who like to throw their money away.

Absolutely discusting, it was only me and one other girl, I was on a promoters table and as I entered I asked about where the table was situated all I got told was, "ull have too find it", we had to pay £20 each, as soon as we got in obviously wanted to put our jackets in the clock room, we rudely got told there was no space, so we went to the toilets absoluty filthy no locks on the doors I felt so clostraphobic, the toilet lady had taken up 2 sinks to sell us lolli pops? Anyway we moved to the vip area and asked where the certain promoters table was, we got palmed off from one end of the vip area to the other we finally bumped into somone who helped us (he didnt even work there) he led us to the O so important stamps, as I was walkin up the stair a bouncer put his arm out and pushed me down the stairs for no Reason when the guy we was with asked what the problem was he said he didnt like the fact that I didnt look happy? I just sed u knw wot forget it and went back down and partied downstairs which was very cramped the prices of the drinks were extorshanate, we then got followed by another vip memeber who asked me to go back to vip as he had ha a word with the bouncer as I went up he demanded an apology what for I dont know. He was on a big fat power trip, by the time we got up there I just wanted to go, waste of time, money, and Dont watse your saturday night going there.

Have never reviewed a club before but had to after a real let down this past weekend: Reviewing as a club not a lapdancing place.

A friend of mine decided to treat herself to a birthday do there, and can echo the other reviews. Promised a table and drinks all night by promoters who made us wait for an hour and a half. Once we had a table we were sharing a bottle of vodka with about 20 other "VIPs" ....the promoters didn't give any special attention, too busy drinking and mingling themselves.

After about 45 mins we were told by a very rude man to move as he had "sold" the table to someone else and I said it was completely unfair since we'd been barely had a chance to enjoy the experience, he then procceded to tell someone else I was being rude and refusing to move which was so far from the truth. After than we felt so angry at the way were treated- presumably if we'd been a Z list celeb it would have been a different story so we moved on and had a great night in a few other places. I think its just snobbery that a club can't try and keep new members, famed or not. Disgusting.

Only worth a trip if you like over priced, stuck up poncy places. Never again.

Mayfair Club has gone down hill so quickly! Such a shame for such an sexy lookin club and amazing 6am closing time and prime location. I am referring to the nightclub on weekends, not the lapdancing. I remember when the nightclub first opened for the afterparties I think at Christmas 2008. Mayfair Club had the best dj's in town and the cream of the crop from clubs like Movida Maddox Jalouse Cuckoo etc attending. The music was house with a bit of commercial. They had kieran promoting the afterparty with luca and praney. And now its ghetto rnb heaven and also pretty empty, and full of slimey men and lost tourists! My visit last weekend was like wooooowwhhaaa what happened here! Just like those Isis days. I think the owner needs to sell it to fresh blood, he's had it too long and keeps changing the name. In the last 2 years its been called Isis, 50 dover and now Mayfair. And this time even I (an avid clubber!) thought they hit the jackpot, but I think what they achieved they lost but not maintaining standards, like service, toilets, unskilled managers who seem too young to even know whats going on and most importantly the evil doormen who have killed the owners club. Someone needs to tell him! Such a shame. Hope it gets a look in from a new owner.

Went to the Mayfair Club on Saturday after hearing great things from work colleagues! One word. Amazing! From arriving at the front door till about 4am, all service and security were fantastic. Lots of hot women, footballers and sparklers going off everywhere! This is one lady who shall be returning every Saturday! If this continues the Mayfair club will definitely be the new place to be seen! Again, an absolute amazing night!

I went to Mayfair Club on Friday night with a group of friends for a Birthday celebration. We were promised free drinks by a host in there, when we arrived there was one bottle of vodka on our table, already half drunk by the other 40 girls that were also there for a birthday, we were told to drink up so we could get another, but I had 20 girls in my party so they got one tiny measure each then no more vodka came. We thought we'd buy ourselves a drink but the cheapest bottle of wine was £40! Ridiculous. As well as a menu full of over priced drinks, I know it is in Mayfair and you should expect these prices, but I was a bit shocked that they could charge these prices when the club was an absolute Sh*t hole. After about an hour and half of waiting for more promised drinks which never arrived, we were shoved off of our table by a fat posh woman, who rudely put her hands round my waist and moved me to the side agressively saying she had "bought the table" the boucers saw but didn't care. The toilets were vile, the sinks were hanging off the wall, the taps lose, one sink was closed because the lady seling her perfumes etc had taken it over and rudely shouted at anyone trying to use it, there was a queue out the door of the toilet and when we actually did get in there it stank and there was dried up diahorrea splatted across the backs of about 3 toilets, it looked as if it had been there for about a week and not cleaned, the toilet seats were equally disgusting with blood stains, smears and a layer of something all over them, toilet rolls were thrown into the toilets and then left out to dry for the customers to use, some of the toilet seats were hanging off, there was sick in the floor of another toilet, and most of the locks didn't work. The lady in the toilet was rude as well. How can they cahrge £40 for a bottle of wine when they supply facilities like that to their customers? The staff are rude, the club is seedy and full of men that grope you. Avoid!

I went in there with high expectations but when I arrived I was greeted by a really unfriendly doorman. When I finally managed to get inside I thought the surroundings were fantastic, but it jjust went downhill from there. I was immediately ushered to a table were we had to wait at least twenty minutes for our drinks, which when they arrived were warm and totally overpriced. As soon as they arrived we got pounced on by some foreign girls who proceeded to offer themselves for money. When I said I ust wanted a dance and a drink they got really pushy and said that I should go to vip as that's where it gets naughty. They said if you look after me here I will look after you later. I was shocked by this and decided to leave but they got aggressive and demanded money from me as I had wasted their time. I begrudgingly gave them a tip and left. I am fully aware of what happens at strip clubs but this one was a disgrace, the girls were all drunk at the very least and I was glad to vacate the premises and will not be returning. The management was a total shambles when I tried to voice my complaints with them I was greeted by a young guy who claimed he was the manager and he showed total disregard for what I had said to him. He was rude and obnoxious and had no idea how to deal with customer complaints. He had no interpersonal skills therefore I strongly advise people to avoid Mayfair Club completely. !

Do not go to Mayfair Club! Went to Mayfair Club last Week. Other than the stunning young brunette whose name I have forgotten and would like to see in a decent environment, I spent about $800 for an hour and a half with the lady and a fair amount on champagne and drinks, about $2000 in all. Mayfair Club has 0 atmosphere, the management are rude and ignorant, the drinks are disgustingly over priced. There are doormen everywhere who seemed to scare the life out of the girl who spent some time with me. When it was time to go as I had a flight to catch, the doorman bundled me into a taxi with an Indian gentleman who strangely enough seemed to be waiting for me inside the club. I requested to go to my hotel in Stanstead. The club must of informed this lovely gent that I had a bit of money, because instead of taking me to my hotel, I was taken to an illegal brothel against my will in the middle of nowhere. When I tried to walk off I had my jacket ripped off of me, wallets and phones included and I missed my flight. Being an out of towner who is not new to strip clubs, I can say that The Mayfair Club is a disgrace and should be closed down. Never Again

I've never posted a review on this website or any other, and let me first of all state I'm one of the managers at The Mayfair Club (perhaps explaining the rating I chose!),

As I say I tend to check on here to see what sort of impression we're making, and attempt to take on board any review be it positive or negative, however after reading this I feel the need to respond,

As I only remember one customer who told us he was staying at a hotel in Stanstead last week, and as we only had to ask one such customer to leave for his behaviour, I can only assume this was you.

After insisting on groping the girls and asking where you could attain 'extras' as well as how much this would cost, when you were told we were not 'that sort' of club, you became rude to the management you now call 'ignorant'.

After such behaviour you were eventually asked to leave the club.

Were I in your shoes waking up after such a night I'd be embarrassed of my drunken antics, most certainly not posting false reviews on a website in an attempt to cover my actions.

False reviews, I think not. I only spoke to one young lady who I did not even request to dance for me. There was no groping, throwing out or requests for anything more. And as I only told the above mentioned taxi driver where I was flying from, you may have the wrong customer.
Nonetheless, it is my own fault for being conned to walk into a dodgy backstreet strip club when far more respectable and well known venues in London offer so much as well as customer satisfaction and security.

Like I said, never again.

Had an okish Thursday night here. Found the drinks to be well over priced, but given that it's a strip club and it's Mayfair I guess pricey drinks come with the location. Not sure who handles the quality control of the girls in this venue, but there are a few ladies who looked a little over the hill to say the least and were it not for the company of an incredibly articulate and beautiful young lady, I would not have spent a small fortune on a VIP table. I felt quite uncomfortable with the presence of a meat head doorman stood over my pricey table watching me like I was Jack the ripper. All in all, I won't be back in a hurry.

We planned to go to Mayfair Club for NYE. We had booked our tickets online on 22nd December so we thought we will get an entry into the club. However when we got to the venue it was the worst NYE ever. The queue was long and they flatly said they oversold all the tickets. How can that even be possible? They are so rude. We were left hanging in the bitter cold for 1 and a half hours to the point where we did the countdown in the cold. We paid £35 and they don't want to give our money back. In the end we had to go to a nearby pub. It was the most horrible night of 2009. I would never ever go to Mayfair Club again!.

we had been to the club on 5th dec 2009 for my friends 'Pre Marriage' Bash. Just to avoid the q's i had written an email to the marketing manager of the club for the guestlist. he had sent me the confirmation of the guestlist as well. when we arrived at the door the security guy told us that we have to speak to the manager of the club. They didn't let us in saying that the guestlist confirmation doesn't guarantee an entry in the club. They told us to pay £100 pounds each to get an entry while all the other people were still paying £15 to get in. when we asked about the price difference he ignored us. WE told him that were ready to pay £15 and he said that the club is full and u still have to pay £100 per person. I am still giving 1 star rating to the club due to its location but according to me one of the worst clubs in london and the staff must learn the etiquette to speak to people.

I organised to go here for my sisters 18th. I organised it through a lovely promoter who managed to get us a table but couldnt come herself.

We arrived at the door was greeted by a very arrogant, totally in love with herself girl who demanded our names.

One of the bouncers was very nice and friendly but once we made it through this other bouncer who was chasing after us to make sure we paid.

He seemed so rude and agitated and didnt make us feel welcome at all, and thats not asking for much with the amount of money we spent on getting in!

The actual bar staff we ok, friendly enough but the drinks were WAAAY too overprices, £24 for a jd and coke and vodka redbull!!

And i swear they were making up the prices as they went along! We were shown our table and had a lovely waitress ask us if we wanted anything throughout the evening.

Then at 1am we were rudely asked to leave the table by some scruffly, dirty looking man that claimed he was the manager!

Overall the night was good, the music was cool, funky house mainly..but I felt it was ruined by these few individuals.

Their behaviour was not called for!!! They seemed so angry and volatile for no reason!!

And people are paying good money to come to this place and spending good money on drinks and what not!! I definitley wont be coming here again or recommending anyone else to come here...

I finally went to the Mayfair Club on Easter night, after having couple of drinks in Mahiki (just opposite the Mayfair club) mainly because not that many clubs were open.

The interior of the club is nice, barmen were very friendly, crowd was ok, although there were quite a lot of 'cheap girls' looking for rich guys (may be some guys will like that).

However, what was a disaster - the MOST AWFUL DJs I've ever seen!!! There were 2 DJs, both couldn't feel the crowd. At around 2am NOBODY WAS DANCING, it seemed the DJs were playing for themselves.

When people were trying to ask them to play something else, these DJs just laughed at them!!! How rude is that!

How can personnel of the club (it doesn't matter, whether it is a DJ, barman or anybody else) laugh at the guests of the club, at people who spend their money there!!!

Would not recommend going to this club at all, unless the management of the club understands that it is better to find some better and at least politer Djs... Meanwhile, would recommend Mahiki, which is just opposite, or any other night club.

I've never been to the strip club part here earlier in the week (but I will soon :) ), but ive been here after Maddox on saturdays at around 1.30 and this place is rockin!

Packed with hot girls and the sound system is wicked, seriously thumpin! Music a little too electro house for me, but generally I like the house music.

Drinks prices as you would expect (movida maddox jalouse prices) and the crowd is great. The bar itself is a little too small so you have to wait to get a drink, but the club, dancefloor and booths are pretty spacious.

Def worth coming to if you have a night out in the west end. My tip is to get in before 3am, and you have more chance of getting in!

After 3am it gets full fast and the management shut the doors. Come in at 1.30 / 2am (i think it opens at 11pm) and you'll have a great night til 6 in the morning!

Note to management - you need to buy a cigg machine!

We just went there. We were a group of Asian professionals for one of the friends birthday. Found an area quite near the vip area. Put our coats down and were dancing in a group. Then the waitress came along with some bottles of wine (not champagne I hasten to add) and a man who clearly had money and his 'friends'. We then moved our coats out of the way (rather resentfully but as we were dancing and not sittting down that did seem reasonable) About 10mins later in a very surreal moment one of the bouncers came along and started incoherently saying that we should move. I said I didn't understand why and one of the boys came over and tried to speak to him asking what he was saying. The bouncer had a look of proper hatred in his eyes. Next thing you know literally a few seconds later bouncer hits our friend and he is dragged outside and beaten up. I am not lying. Am still in shock about the whole experience.

My assessment is the people that couldn't get into the 'vip area' were so irritated that we were near their space they got the bouncer to throw us out. Seriously! Maybe I am naive but we were the most sober people in the room and the club got us to part with our money. So no I wouldn't recommend Mayfair Club to my worst enemy

I have no idea about Mayfair club as a gentlemans club, but after 3am it is always rocking with the right people.

When you walk down the stairs, there are plenty of other beautiful ladies and lots of guys willing to continue spending.

The music is exactly the one you want to hear until 6, and the bartenders seem to give you well portioned drinks at a reasonable price.

The place is full of customers from Maddox, Movida, Amika and Cuckoo...so it is always fun to be with a quite strict crowd.

Plus I met a really handsome half Italian half Spanish guy named Paolo, so it was a great night for me.

I was here for the lap dancing club on the Thursday, and after seeing the venue was curious to see how the nightclub scene was!The girls on the Thursday were gorgeous, like someone else said the V.I.P boothes were outside my price range but I was free to have a table and enjoy the shows, and then paid £20 for a dance from my favourite blonde (have forgotten her name allready though or I'd recommend!).

The main reason I came back and paid the high drinks prices on the Friday was how beutifully the club was decorated, by far and away the classiest Strip Club I've been to in London (and I've done the rounds), and was happy to say the nightclub didn't dissapoint either! While it was absolutely packed, the crowd was good, as a previous review said it was mainly the Mahiki / Maddox crowd in.To summarise - reasonably pricey but well worth the money!

I came here very late on a Saturday. The club looks great and I had a fantastic night. However, I was not much pleased with the badgering floor staff and less impressed by one of the rude barman.

The same barman poured one single drink and one double drink when I clearly asked for two doubles. The mistake was observable. When I informed him of his mistake he had the audacity to tell me that he had overpoured one and said that if I were to mention it again he would pour some of the acohol out!).

The bar manager was nice enough to attempt resolving the situation, but to be honest it wasn't a big deal and all i wanted was to enjoy the rest of my night out, which I did! I don't agree with the classy ladies comment below.

A lady does not have class if she pesters and ask easily influenced men to buy her drinks - that is called a leechful parasite! A lady would wait until she is offer or buy it herself! We obvisiously have different standards with regards to class.

Being a regular user of this site I approached the Mayfair Club with some trepidation, not sure which of the reviews to believe...However after enjoying a night tehre I can certainly go with the positive ones. I was able to sit down with just a beer, so not sure where the previous reviewer got the idea you must buy champagne (although the girls did admittedly ask for some!).

I believe it has recently been changed to a 'lap dancing' club from a 'hostess bar', meaning that you no longer pay to sit with the girls and buy them drinks, you're free to simply have a few beers and enjoy the show!By far and away the best decorated strip club I've been to, far beyond Stringfellows, Secrets etc...After asking how much it was to move up to V.I.P I was told I must buy champagne, and being pretty skint at the time I decided to stay sat on the main floor, however as I say the girls were great and all in all a top night!

I was there on Saturday night until 6am and had an awesome night. It seems that the Mayfair Club is a lap dancing club Monday to Thursday, but Fridays and Saturdays it has club nights (with sexy pole dancers in spandex!). Last Saturday it was full of the Movida, Dolce, Maddox and Chinawhite staff and customers (I guess they came across when they shut at 3am!) and the dj was pretty superb! A mix of electro, house and dance. The club is stunning with lots of intimate booths and plush interiors. When this club was called ISIS it was awful, but now, as The Mayfair Club it is -the- place to be I think! Def up for another weekend there!

Contrary to the above reviews, I thoroughly enjoyed my night there.
As previously stated, the drinks are hardly the cheapest in London, however given the club is directly opposite the Ritz Hotel and in central Mayfair, I hardly found this surprising...
The girls were good quality, classy, and I found the staff there even more supportive.
Our party of 4 was treated to a V.I.P booth, and I believe some of the rules must have changed from the last visits, as there was no 'You must buy drinks to see the girls' rule.

All in all an excellent night at an excellent venue.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my night out in the mayfair club. As lavishly decorated as it was, i found it difficult to relax and very pressured into spending my money. When you first walk in you are bombarded by desperate girls and ordered to buy champagne, else you cannot sit down!! Immediately you become wary of parting with your cash as you feel like you are getting ripped off. The prices are ridiculous due to its ''supposed'' wonderful location. I wont even begin on the card surcharges! Also another disappointing factor was the management. They lacked in skills required for good customer service, and girls seemed unfairly treated by them. Potentially this club could be a success, however prices and attitude needs serious reconsideration! All in all a dreadfull experience.
