Best club i have ever been to . The staff was so friendly they cleaned everything up as soon smth got dirty, they supplied me all night with whatever i wanted especially this Japanese guy he was sooo cute . They had a great selection of music and they played only 2 electronic songs ( which i am very grateful for) and the people are gorgeous. it is true tho that u have to have money to enjoy this place .

Unfriendly rude staff. Hired a room and for the money spent very poor service. Had my phone stolen and waited till end and they still wouldn't look for it incase I had lost it. Would definetely avoid this establishment. Overpriced and Overrated!

After reading the great reviews on Monroes I thought it would be worth checking it out for myself - I really shouldn't have bothered.

It was one my worst nights out, the crowd is unfriendly and NOT full of celebs - unless the D List BB contestants count as celebrities! Also it was far too crowded, it was literally a sweat box!

The only reason I have decided to give this club 2 stars is because I cannot fault the music - a great selection of RnB, dance and funky house, however I expect a bit more from a club on a night out!

There are far better places out there, I'd suggest checking out Maya or Studio Valbonne!

My last time to this club was 2008 it was my fav and still is it as I went to Monroe’s No5, last week Saturday may 2009, they changed the club décor but still look nice and nice crowd too.

But i noticed that they double priced the drink like JD+coke is like £13 also entry is £20 now.

So if you want to go this club you have to have a bank account overflowing with money......and u will have a good time.

Went to Monroe's club for my birthday last saturday the 30th of January - I had an area booked out first on the bar and then on the dance floor. My friends & I had a FANTASTIC time!! We danced the night away - the music was sooo good.. a mix of current pop, rnb & fun old school tunes. The place has been refurbished since I went last year - and it looks great. Great venue - definitely recommend going for a fun night out!

Went to Monroe's Friday 14th November...and OH.MY.GOD..what a night!!!Went to the bar first which is on the first floor as soon as you walk in and had a couple of cocktails..which were amazing! After that we went onto Monroe's club which is in the basement of No.5 Cavendish, it was rammed, but rammed in a good way, everyone dancing with each other, jumping up and down to the beat of the music (which by the way is great, a mix of house/r'n'b/commercial remix, brilliant to dance to) everyone is super friendly, staff, customers etc....drinks are normal london prices so no shocker there.Met Natalie Imbruglia in the toilets at one point (had a cheeky photo with her), also saw Sienna Miller AND Jesse Metcalfe, all in one night!! The night carried on until the small hours of the morning, eventually us girls could't take it any longer and stumbled out at 4.30am, which we then helped by the doormen into awaiting cabs which are right outside!Such a good night and i recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!!
