Cool friendly staff but at the door and at the bar. Punters seem quite friendly as well. I had a good night.

Nambucca claims to be "the best pub in Holloway"? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Who do they think they are kidding? Once upon a time this was a grand place and really good bands. The music programming is shocking since it was burnt out by the new owners. Rude door staff made us queue although the bar was almost empty. There are plenty of pubs around that offer a true alternative, Boogaloo being just one or The Hawley Arms. Avoid!

No longer a "pub" that has bands -Nambucca is now a legit Music Venue that caters for ALL genres . I am local and visit often - no matter who is playing the atmosphere is always great and all the staff are always friendly and helpful. The bouncers who are a great laugh always make us feel safe and of course you will have to queue if the girl taking the admission is serving somebody else!. We love the place - always guaranteed a good night out.

Fantastic venue. There's really nothing about going to a gig here you could moan about.

The sound is fantastic and the drinks are very reasonably priced for London.

Not sure why one of the reviews says you wait ages to get served. The night we went there must have been 300 or more people at the gig and we never had a long wait at the bar.

Staff are super friendly which makes a change from most London venues.

A bunch of went to Nambucca in March 2011for the first time, since it burnt down, and we loved it... We went a watch a friends band, and we went early, from sound check to closing, and none of us can fault it, The staff bought in a huge tray of tea and coffee crisps and biccys, at sound check, free for all of us!! almost unheard of!! £2.00 beer untill opening time!!.. the best PA the band have played on/with. It was packed all night, and cant complain about anything, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.. what more can you ask for.. a friendly proffesional music venue..(there was plenty of bar staff when we was there) We recommend it to everyone, we havent stopped talking about it since..all musos will love it!!

The venue itself is ok,but. And here lies the big but. The bar is so understaffed its A joke. I have never waited so long (1/2 hour) at a bar and even then I didn't get served so I walked out. The bar is so understaffed so don't Bother going here, just head to camden or somewhere More central as you can at Least get A drink without Missing most of the bands, unbelievable. Nambucca is A joke! Ps. This is the first time I have ever been bothered to write a review of anywhere,Thats how Infuriating This joke of A bar Has made me feel!

Nambucca is quite an un-assuming venue - less pretentious than a lot of London pubs. I really enjoyed it when we attended last week.

There were several DJs and an open mic for anyone who was brave enough! They also do computer games nights which we’re thinking of trying out.

Nambucca does close quite early but I’d still recommend it as somewhere to spend a chilled out evening.

Quite a cool, urban crowd head to Nambucca to party. They have good DJs in house and different events each week. You can hear music ranging from disco, folk, rock, hip hop, in fact pretty much anything seems to go at Nambucca. The beer is cheap and I like the unpredictable music.
