This club is absolutely appalling.I should have known better when I never received a response to my online booking through their site of a booth. Was having a birthday party celebration on Friday 11 Nov 2011 and thought this would be a lovely venue as it was central to all transport for my guests.2 of my guests got there early and were treated rudely, they messaged to say they were leaving as the place is a dump. When I got there and spoke to the door person, presumably the manager he was quite rude, and then roughly grabbed my hands and stamped it and let us in.On entry we saw EXACTLY why it was called a dump by my other guests. The furniture is tacky and not very clean, no one is coming around to clean/clear the glasses or wipe the table. After about 20mins wait we got seating downstairs thanks to a kind waiter. As you walk down the stairs the stench of urine hit you from the toilets as the doors were wide open.Caution to ladies, the toilet doors do not lock.We had vouchers for drink specials but were told it was only available at the bar upstairs, so we had to keep walking upstairs if we wanted cocktails or to use the vouchers. At 11:30pm we had placed and order for drinks, and while waiting for the incompetent and RUDE girl serving to get it right -AFTER TAKING OUR MONEY, our friends were coming upstairs with coats in hand and the security going around clapping hands at people telling them 'ok we are closed now, you gotta leave'.Of course we had just paid for and only just received 5 drinks.Asked for plastic cups to take our drinks with us, they did not understand what we meant by PLASTIC CUPS, when she finally got it, she said 'we don't have that here'.We were forced to rush down our drinks, and made to feel very unwelcome at this club.DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. NOT WORTH IT.

Just lost their licence due to terrible problems with noise, nuisance and violence, so they will now be closing at 11:30pm. Be warned.

Oxygen ..
We prebooked a booth for 15 people for a 21st birthday,
got there are our booth (which was meant to be for 15 people, decorated etc) was 2 small chairs put in a corner!!
After being passed around 4 members of staff, the very very rude manager said he would sort it, yet stood opposite the nightclub smoking for 20 minutes and once confronted by myself, he soon became very disrespectful and extremely rude!..
I would NOT recommend Oxygen to anybody, they management is appalling and the photographs etc online are VERY deceiving, the 'club' is tiny, the upstairs bar is very small and crowded etc..

Every time we visit London we always come to Oxygen, love the atmosphere, friendly staff and the music. We are going back to London in September and Oxygen is definitely on our list again. This is a firm favourite!

What a marvellous club! Been there last Saturday to celebrate my B'day and had a great night, cool music and the prices were not that high, plus I received a complementary bottle of bubbly for celebrating my b'day there. We will recommend the club to all our friends and look forward to going back.

Been to Oxygen last Friday for a b'day celebration and it's pretty cool. Actually we had a lush night in this multi-level club. the coolest thing was that on each floor they were playing different type of music, so for a second i felt like being in different places, but hey I was still in Oxygen :). Very nice club!

Went to Oxygen for a friends 18the birthday on Friday night and it was absolutely amazing! The drinks were gorgeous, the atmosphere was buzzing and the people were so great. The birthday girl had organized a booth which was great fun and the dj was banging great tunes. Staff were so nice and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a fabulous night in London. However the drinks were ridiculously overpriced so I think that's the only thing I can complain about. Cannot recommend this fantastic place enough! Simply cannot wait to go back!

I can't believe the reviews I've just read! I went to Oxygen for my sisters birthday this weekend, and had a wonderful night. They decorated an area for my sister and sorted a cake! We were made to feel very special! I had a great night, as did my sister and her friends. I'm planning to go again with my friends next time!

After reading the reviews about Oxygen I was not that pleased when my friends decided to go there. Believe it or not a had a great time there, and all started from the door, some good looking staff there :). Inside the music just kept us on the dance floor and the bar staff was really friendly.Prices in my opinion are on everyone budget even if is in Leicester Square area. I felt safe and had a really great time.Next time I won't take into account other reviews and I'll just go for it.

Does this kind of places exist in London? The story: a guy in the street call 6 friends walking close to the club and say £10 just for you! After a while he changes for 8 with 2 drinks included and the 6 friends. Accept. While the last of 6 is getting inside the guard (very big) take is bag and throw it away saying "you cannot stay between the two doors where the people walk". What? Then the guy, very disappointed, start to talk with the guard saying "do not treat me in this way I'm just trying to pay" but after that they didn't let him get in. The other 5 have already paid but decide to get away and ask for refound. No refound they say. So it's been £8x5 people for 2 minutes inside! And the way they treat the guys. Don't go there is the worst place in London.

Went here for a Friday night out with friends after first term at uni. it was an okay club, playing average top40 music, but the clientele were much older than we were, average age around 35. I would avoid it if you're looking to find a good, young club for the weekend.

Had a good night at Cocktail Experience shame about the aftercare.

Paid for Cocktail Experience and cheques which were ageed to be paid in instalments were cashed at once nearly 4 months later! This caused me to go overdrawn and occur bank charges!!

Complained and member of management made allegations against me stating I knew cheques had not been cashed and went to club expecting a free night out with free drinks!

so tried to take it further and no one could give me the owners details!!Two weeks after initial complaint contact given of Head Office who offered me free drinks as gesture of goodwill!!

I live 60 miles away so not a local drinking hole!Would not recommend - if you get a problem there will be no way of sorting it out as they just are not interested :0(

We only came in here because one of the PR guys got us in for free...and trust me we didnt stay long.

There werent much people in there, the music and atmosphere was pooooor. So we went upstairs to see if it got any better...but it was even worse!

just random people sitting down in the dark talking. We then headed straight for the exit!

Nice set up on different floors, good decor at entrance level but unfortunately the club floor we ended up on was way too crowded to be comfortable, and a little skanky, especially the toilets. Drinks were also very expensive.

As we were leaving we also saw a young guy being wrestled out by the bouncers only for them to then realise they had got the wrong man!Still, we had a good night, would go back to the bar, but not the club : )

I went here last saturday 7/2/09 and had a wiked night.. spent pretty much all of the night in the main bar.. went upstairs at first and it was a bit too mellow for what we wanted and went down to the main bar.. which was quite packed but good all the same. we didnt get to downstairs untill about 2.45 so kinda missed that but it just goes to show that the main bar was that good.. the staff were lovely.. the barmen were HOT! and it was all round a good night!!!

Ignore the last review!I went there last night too and it was a good night out! Girls get in free and you can choose to stay on the top floor bar area (bit too mellow for my liking but alright if you just want to drink and chill out a bit), the ground floor which is the main bar and general buzzing-milling about type area, and the basement which is where all the music and dancing and crazy **** is happening, so go down there!

Get down before midnight though 'cause after then the floor gets PACKED in which case it's better to move back up to the ground floor.A night out is what you make it. If you're with a good crowd of people already and pumped up you'll have a good time, and we did!My only complaint is that there was some newbie DJ at the beginning on the night who didn't know how to mix, then he couldn't even get the CD to work... it's like, just press play mate!

Went there last night and you could find a better atmosphere in a public toilet then in this cramped, smelly, cold squat you call a bar!! Staff were rude, manager was very unhelpful and was a complete waste of time. Was glad to leave and found better bars just 2 min walk away. son't even consider coming here unless you want overpriced coktails i.e a bellini for £7 with peach schnapps and champagne!! not even peach puree!! really ruins the whole concept of a night out in london. if i could give 0 stars i would.

I went here about a month and a half ago...
I didnt really like it.

I didn't like the music, there were hardly any good looking guys there, it was small and cramped.

Its not all bad, i mean the the bouncers were lovely, they let us in for half price, but i wouldnt go back here.

what a waste of money! the drinks are (at best) average and the music is just embarassing. i completly agree that the bouncers are unfriendly and it gave the place a really bad vibe. if they got rid of the rude security guards it cud be quite gd. but all in all a place to avoid.

Don't go to this bar! the drinks are really over-priced and the bouncers are incredibly rude. i heard one bouncer referring to a group of passing young girls as 'f***ing s***s' and the overall atmosphere was really unfriendly.

At first I wasn't really impressed with the venue I must admit(bit small). If it weren't for the crowd, cool vibe, really nice people or the bar staff(the most fun I've come across by far)then this review would be a bad one like the one I'm going to give Rainforest cafe - crap crowd, crap ticket staff, crap vibe. Crap crap crap. Oxygen on the other hand is a small little club that at first you think; hold on ain't this a pub?? No, no you go down a couple of stairs and there's a crowded dancefloor and people dancing on top of the bar, my cousin being one of them! Feeding off the vibe and the good music I had a whale of a time..Yay Oxygen.

Tucked away I found this place to be a absolute gem! What really makes it, are the people that work there and the people that go there. They were by the nicest I have met in a while. The bouncers were great and on the ball at all times and I had a great time dancing on the bar!

We went here last monday expecting a quiet night but it was really busy and we had the best night out in ages! The sexy security guys were so friendly-they let us in free and were joking with us all night, the barstaff were up dancing on the bar and really enjoying themselves-it really added to the atmosphere.Drinks were only 1.50 so we spent hardly any money and we met some really cute guys-a miracle in Leicester square! We´ll definitely be back!!!

Fantastic bars and ridiculously cheap cocktails for central London, jugs for under £15 and really delicious. Stayed there 10-3 and had a brilliant time, the club is a bit small and smells a little funky but past about midnight everyone is having such a good time you don't notice. A mixed crowd with a lot of skeezy guys in the early part of the evening but overall a really good venue.
